Do note that Doctor protection is not 100% guaranteed... Unless there is a (goodie) GA, protection means only that that person is less likely to have been turned.

Yes, doc protection is not 100%, but as far as I am aware someone who gets hunted first falls unconscious, and only after a day the percentage die is rolled.
I'd have to ask reis this to make sure but I thought Johho concluded it works like that after reading the rules as well.
Even if it doesn't there's only a 33% chance of that scenario happening if a protected person is hunted. Not likely enough to name myself or the seer as a likely suspect

I've reread Adamus PM about the players and realized that what I thought was an extra role for the doctor(s) was in fact just a note that they played on the side of the "village", not that the doctor(s) were also villager(s). This also explains the "villager villager". So in conclusion "doctor" is role, not a trait, just as it says in the rules. Sorry about the confusion.

This is how I think reis91's rules are supposed to work and how I will handle any hunts on a doc protected player in the future but since randakar was hunted/doc-protected and the first no-kill happened when reis91 was still GMing I can't guarantee that is how he handled it. The second no-kill was when I was GMing and I can confirm that no doctor was involved in that.

The fact that you think the rules work like that means that you have no evidence towards it not working like that. If the seer or me had been turned you would have had such evidence. Therefore, it didn't happen. That is all I need to know.

You are twisting my words. Someone was turned before I took over. However I don't know when that happened nor if that player was protected by a doctor or not at the time.

(I shouldn't really tell you about the turned but everyone seems to assume that is why no autodead cultist has shown up so it should come as no shock for any of you).

All GMs run games at least slightly different. Which is why I would prefer 4 of 5 big games be run by a select small pool of candidates so the mechanics stay similar and games are run by experienced hands with a little room for newer people to try as opposed current system of whoever signs up. No offence to anyone intended.

I do admit that it ramps up the paranoia level. It's a good thing for making us question shit right now. It's frustrating, but us regulars should deal with it naturally.

Since the assembled saints felt so jealous of the amazing personality, good looks and clear head of Father Ted Crilly the Infidel Zealot Unbeliever the just had to kill him. Jealousy is one of the seven deadly sins after all and no saint wants to be guilty of a deadly sin, does he? Feeling slighty guilty for commiting murder out of jealousy you decided to let Father Crilly chose the method of his execution and as the rightous man he is, he decided to walk in the Lord's footstep and took the cross.

As could be expected such crime against all that is good did not go unpunished for long and Saint Dennis the Miracle-worker was found torn to pieces in a nearby lion pit the next morning.
