Nah, villagers can totally have sorcerous powers. DeathNote had them a few games ago, and there's no reason why they shouldn't be able to.

And I routinely give them to villagers when I GM exactly to try and dispel that belief that they are baddie only. I know that k-59 got them once. As far as I remember Cliges got them the last time.

At the moment, I would not mind lynching you, even if you were a confirmed Seer, you are just irritating.
His scan seems legit, however he could be a baddie from another pack instead of a villager.
Rivalry isn't off the table, either.
Sacrificing a pack member to lynch the priest would be interesting play, but really, why not hunt him next and everyone is none the wiser?

Delta is an idiot, but everything looks like he is a villager idiot. As a baddie, he would not out torn, but hunt him (and there could be a pack that prevented him from contacting Split)

Not really. His story is far too inconsistent for me to think its genuine. It's the first day, so evidence is less than desired, but I believe torn more than delta.
I was trying to hide my role. I was hoping delta's ploy was obvious enough that I wouldn't have to reveal myself as the priest. Doing that usually leads to being hunted rather soon.

Obviously the man wanted to live; outing yourself as priest makes sure you aren't surviving for long. And it is quite standard to ask for scans when accused of being a baddie. I don't see any inconsistency.
Did you see that assassin order of his from my latest big which I posted a few pages back? Otherwise I will post it again. That was him going against the will of the pack and doing something immensely stupid.
Also no baddie would ever out a cultist, since cultists can turn on their packs. Now had he accused torn of being a zealot things would have been different, but cultists can win with all packs.
Also bear in mind that he could be unattached/sorc. Or that he wanted to use a patsy who then was to be hunted.

Btw Torn calling for a priest to scan him is an acceptable move for disguise if he is priest himself. Which we will find out soon enough anyways.
I would not begin to suggest that delta handled it in anything resembling a competent manner. But delta sounds like a confused fool, not one trying to be tricky.
And he doesn't when he is a baddie? That is new. Try e.g. remembering that assassin order...
Also remember that game where I was seer and you padre; you know when you made that large scale swing to save me. Delta was a wolf and most of all sounded like a confused fool.
Yes, I know that delta is more than capable of doing unbelievably dumb things as a baddie, and of getting caught in inconsistent statements as well. But he's actually been consistent here in terms of his actual claims, and his errors seem borne out of ignorance more than anything else. Whereas Torn's objections have mostly been of the "Well, if I'm a cultist, why'd you do it that way"? variety.
