it's the over under for a particular game compared to the mean for all games.

so, say the average is 500

one game has 450... so it's posts-avg. is -50
another game has 650... it's posts-avg. is 150

i use it to calculate the z-score, which determines where a game is on the standard deviation chart.

Does SD denote Standard Deviation? If so, it shouldn't be negative...

well... that's the z-score that you can use to find the deviation.
