So I started a new playthrough for 2.7 and as I am playing I uplifted 5 empires, 3 of them became corps (Can't remember the other 2) and recently an AI empire uplifted another and it became a corp too! I posted this on reddit and several people said it also happened to them

I have mods, but people said this has happened to them in unmodded games. I got all DLC too. Is this a bug anyone here has noticed before?
