I can sympathize, the first Centre of Reformation that popped up in my game was in Cyprus too.
I actually thought it was pretty cool, so I head-canoned it into being a revival of Byzantine Iconoclasm within a syncretic mix of Crusader Catholicism and Turkish Islam.

Reformation center in Iceland anyone?
I wonder if it can spawn in one of the portuguese or castillian islands... a center in the antilles would be hilarious.

Btw, which map are you using? I have seen that one quite a lot, but couldn't find out, which one it is.
One started in Wales...And now all of england is Protestant..And of course Denmark is converted.. And other smaller places. Hopefully it does not reach Venice.. But it would be nice if Austria became it and lost the Emperorship lol.
I would be... very surprised indeed if it's possible for the initial CoR of a religion to spawn in the territory of the sitting emperor.
(And I would have been surprised by the bit in my game where Rome got flipped by the remote effects of a Reformed CoR under the Pope's nose, but I'd already seen the post where someone else reported it happening.)
It happens, I've seen Vien as a initial CoR. Austria didn't flip, though.

In Heaven's Graphics mod, I like it quite a bit.
In my game there were like 4 protestant nations, at the end of the game only England was left, all of scandinavia stayed 100% catholic the entire game, even the Netherlands.
I think that perhaps it would be best if single island provinces could not become centres of religion.
I was going to convert to Protestant as England since keeping control of the curia is simply pointless and then I see the Centre would spawn in Iceland... Lol nope.
Hopefully Reformed decides to be in a better place if not then I guess Catholic it is then. At least it helps with integrating France.

I have seen Protestantism and the Reformed faith spread all over Europe (the HRE part) and then it still took a long time before non-Catholic countries could become HRE. Well maybe the Netherlands forced a few countries to switch religion. But still what surprised was that the outcome of the religious war was that all religion were allowed to become HRE.. Which meant the two remaining catholic countries could also become emperor. But they didn't and reformed Austria did.

This happened me recently and really ruined the fun of the game for me, I actually havent gone back to it since:
Should CoR's spawn anywhere but continental Europe?? Like, shouldn't there be a LIMIT = { OR = { region = blah region = blah_blah } }.
Well, if they couldn't spawn somewhere in the British Isles, that would be pretty lousy for them.
That said, having a way to prevent multiple centers from appearing in close proximity would be good.
