I have hope for an arty price nerf, limitation of units per card or anything like that. Only frustrating gameplay and even a monkey could hold 2 keys and press the right mouse button over and over again. If you have no counter arty available in your deck you get spamed away without any skill and that´s really no fun.
And even if you have a counter it´s not much fun to bring own arty in to counter the enemys because it´s just waste of time imo.

More or more effective arty spam is a point where I will stop playing the game probably, it´s already annoying and often frustrating. Also I noticed a lot of new players and low levels seem to rely on tons of arty to win a game instead of a good strategy. Most time they fail anyway but everytime I´m asking myself if I shouldn´t better play/do something else.

Hope it comes with a Steam sale. I really like the game, but as a player in the Pacific time zone the lobby sim is getting a little too real for me to even launch the game these days.

Or just let me join a running game after someone inevitably drops, it could be a losing situation but at least I'd be playing.

Are you playing 10v10? I find the artillery spam in 10v10s unbearable and I have not played 10v10 in a long time because of that, but I don't think it's that bad with standard settings so long as the map size is appropriate.

I'll never understand why people think artillery needs to be tone down. Stop playing so defensively
Are you playing 10v10? I find the artillery spam in 10v10s unbearable and I have not played 10v10 in a long time because of that, but I don't think it's that bad with standard settings so long as the map size is appropriate.
It is entirely dependent on the size of the game. No one has time for arty spam in 1v1's and 2v2's. It will lose you the game. 3v3's on smaller maps like Merderet and St. Mere-Eglise are the only times I see artillery in any meaningful amount.

Artillery is at most, annoying.

But annoying can be viewed as another mark against a failed game, because, well, why not.

If they don't give a price buff to the 2" mortar carrier i may uninstall the game :eek:

all divisions working with this thing would be op with good cheap arty in a so its fine.
I think it will not take long till the patch comes live. Beta was quite nice to play, i really like the balance. Still we need some more content to make this game running again.
