Seems like a crappy reply. i mean literally everything works except the placing of the terra incognita. experiencing no lag issues and can run CK2 easily.

The only other thing I can think of is de-installing and removing all files from your computer, including the ones in my documents, then re-installing everything.
i have tried reinstalling but i did not remove all files i just did the remove local files thing from steam. will try now.
Gemberkoekje i love you with the force of a thousand suns. took your advice and purged my PC of EU IV files then redownloaded which worked for me. now playing with no issues. would like to just put it out there that im using intel integrated graphics on an Inspiron 15R N5010 Laptop. if you have the problem of continents overlapping and misplaced terra incognita it may be a fix to ensure your drivers are fully updated then completely uninstall EU IV and all remaining files from My Documents and then reinstall.

Getting this exact same bug with the full version of EU4 on steam, I am using a radeon x1900, this is a desktop, and i t runs ck2 just peachy, eu4 runs great too, if not just for this little weird bit. Would really appreciate an honest look at this by paradox.
