Weird event and US behaviour post WW

I finished the war against Germany around 1941 and the USA did not intervene. I puppeted Germany (mainly for the achievement) and so I got the Social republic of Germany (I do not remember, but I assume your puppets have your ideology?, so I think it was Communist). Well, first I got this event:

Which is obviously nonsensical. Later the USA was following the anti fascist tree and it ended up attacking the Socialist republic of Germany, even though they were definitely not Fascists and provoking another world war!
Funnily enought I already broke te Molotov pact in early 1940 to attack Germany

I hope PDX fixes the NFs someday, but i think the NFs are not on top of their priority list.

The funny thing is, this problem could be fixed with adding one line to the focus tree file that checks if Germany is fascist. To keep it from being too rigid, you could also add another check to see if the US is democratic. Something like this;

One of the following must be true;
X German Republic is Fascist.
V Free American Empire is NOT Democratic.

The U.S focus should be unavailable if Germany is a subject of another country, unless the U.S. is also at war with the parent country (but, for whatever reason, not the GER subject). The left-over tail event from the Molotov focus should not fire if either SOV or GER is a subject of the other, or if they are in the same faction.

I did not plan to continue after getting the puppet Germany achievement, but is a war with a US that did not fight at all in the war winnable, considering is almost 1942 and in the AI had plenty of time to maximize the US industrial power (not to mention they're allied with the commonwealth, France did not last more than a month since I just rolled over Paris while Republican Spain attacked Italy)?

Nothing after the war works as it should, unfortunately. NFs see to that. I've seen some outright ridiculous things happen (post-war democratic Hungary and Romania going to war because they didn't accept the Transylvania mediation that Communist rump state Germany imposed because of a NF).
