Something tells me that when Guderian says the German army is the most advanced, his distrust of Slavs makes him ignore the Red Army...
The realm rejoices as Paradox Interactive announces the launch of Crusader Kings III, the latest entry in the publisher’s grand strategy role-playing game franchise. Advisors may now jockey for positions of influence and adversaries should save their schemes for another day, because on this day Crusader Kings III can be purchased on Steam, the Paradox Store, and other major online retailers.
I doubt that the Red Army would be really that advanced with the great purge occurred(and mobility doctrine is certainly better than manpower in the early 40s ingame) ... Plus, there have been no real combat yet to show the world Red Army's pathetic state.Something tells me that when Guderian says the German army is the most advanced, his distrust of Slavs makes him ignore the Red Army...

I must agree with tooichan here. I am not ignoring the Red Army at all since its numbers are the largest in the World, but in terms of efficiency and equipment Germany has the lead, since lots of their divisions are outdated and I have only the 36 and 39 models. Same for tanks and airplanes.I doubt that the Red Army would be really that advanced with the great purge occurred(and mobility doctrine is certainly better than manpower in the early 40s ingame) ... After speaking with the mod creator and a DH developer I have finally been able to mobilize with just a little tweak in the events file. However, I will have to do a little workaround to be able to get things rolling once the most important event ("Picking sides") has been launched, but after a quick game to test things out that won´t interfere with our story and will make sense. The next update (tomorrow or Sunday) will be the most comprehensive one; that way I will cover al the way since the end of 1940, the date when the final event triggers.Hack the game if you must in order to keep things going. There's quite a few crisis out there that could justify a German intervention in RP terms
Yes it is, and the mod creator is always improving it and open for suggestions. Here you´ve got the link:This mod looks pretty awesome! Is it all up to date and compatible?
No, no, don't you see? It's about democracy in Europe - it doesn't say that it has to exist in South America! Or at least that's what Vargas thinks. "If I can protect it in Europe and then it doesn't run away to the Americas!"So, Vargas' Estado Novo is now in the "Axis of European Democracy"? Those two qualifiers are down the drain, I suppose.

Hahaha, Julius got the trick! Considering that a democratic Germany has few options to gain allies, I cannot say no to Vargas...specially if he has 24 air divisions avaliable! No, no, don't you see? In any case, from that DNVP picture it seems like they're experiencing an influx of former NSDAP members that ditched the Nazi party in an attempt to regain some political credibility by disassociating themselves from that second failed putsch.
That is a good analysis. Right now, the Zentrum has a good chance of winning the elections with the support of other right winged parties, but the SPD could counter it if they manage to appear strong in international politics and find another ally to replace the Zentrum.So.... What will the SPD do? Fold to the right wing pressure or hold their ground?....
I think Germany will DoW the allies somehow; either from the SDP caving in or from a Zentrum-DNVP coalition taking over
Thanks Mathrim! Glad you suscribed!Go MercilessNacho, give 'em hell.
I was following, but t'was time I subscribed, I missed a few chapters.
Well, in 1939 Brazil had trade agreements both with the Axis and the Allies, and since we are at peace and keep good relations with them it is quite feasible, IMO.Brazil allied with Germany?hmy:
This mod is Mixed Mod by Arcanjo Zero (http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?657199-Mixed-Mod), which integrated and improved both Democratic Germany and Communist Germany mod, and some other mini mods that really improve gameplay and inmersion. However, mind that some events from Democratic mod depend on who is the Head of Government: SPD has more economic development events, DNVP some army expansion, etc.oh this going well! I can't wait to see the outcome! What mod are you using because i don't recall seeing half of these events just in the democratic Germany mod?
Hard to tell! Anyways, even if I end defeated the AAR would go on...there would be many interesting and ahistorical things to explain!Wow, I hate to imagine what could've happen if a Democratic Germany was defeated by Britain and France...so win...because I don't want to imagine it.![]()
