Hello, as you've probably understood, this thread will be only about Generals of both the Waffen SS and the Wehrmacht.
NO WARCRIMES WILL BE DISCUSSED
First of, I have some questions that would be useful to have answered.
A veteran of the Great War getting a Iron Cross, a training expert who was deeply respected in the German army and by the Soviets.
He fought first with SS battalion Deutschland and later SS battalion Wiking, he was very succesful all the way from Poland, through France in and out of Russia and finally in Pomerania and north of Berlin..He was a overall a great General and of honourable sort.
He was viewed as the last hope for Berlin by Hitler and was admired by many of the General Staff for his ability to lead his troops.
He was first on the southern front with leading SS Wiking, even with the famous Russian Mud, he managed to get over the Dneipier river where he would have to go on the defensive from the Russian counterattack of the winter 1941. His unit held their ground during the Russian offensive, the following summer his unit stormed Rostov and made it to the Euro-asian border. The unit was fighting later in Mozdok and Alagir.
Another great accolade was the defense of Narva where he defended from across the river resulting in a great victory despite being heavily outnumbered. There's even a movie made about this.
With 50'000' men and 300 tanks he managed to push the Soviet 68th Army back 8 miles in a single day. The following the day was also victorious, it was so sucessful General Zhukov was required to send 2 Tank armies to stop his advance.
When Berlin fell and everyone realized the war was lost, he fled with his unit and surrendered to the Americans, saving his men from labour camps in the Soviet Union.
There are some very good pictures of him that could easily be made for the game. He could have the Old-Guard trait since he fought in the Great War and was a Major before joining the V-Truppe, a prerunner to the Waffen SS. He was a great trainer and his unit had a very good espirit de corps so he could have some bonus from that.
It's just a suggestion, post your own suggestions for Generals so far unseen in WWW or in some kind of DD and some background info!

First of, I have some questions that would be useful to have answered.
- Will there be Waffen SS generals also included in the game?
- If there are Waffen SS generals, will there be a distinction between them and Wehrmacht generals?
- Will there be more actual generals that are real other than the ones you start with or will there only be randoms?
