I've never been interested in any of the "shorter" scenarios in Paradox Games. It just doesn't feel like your getting the full game otherwise. The exception being the Battle Scenarios in HoI2, as they were distinctly separate little "Mini-Games" if you will.

Grand Campaign all the way baby!

1453 and 1575, for much the same reasons as Registered.

I want to be the Dutch and save Antwerp from the Spanish :D

I went for:

1453 (the GC)
1500 (just because I could)
1625 (The Thirty years war)
1700 (The War of the Spanish Succession)

GC and
1550, map has developed further, many empires have taken their critical areas, thus provding a improved platform.

Most later scenarios i often found terribly lacking, no taxcollectors and such. So while a 1700 might be intresting, well, but then again, will it be done properly with mayors etc.. properly developed colonies?

I would like all these scenarios as choosable beginning campaigns, and also time of 1409 or so :p

If you have a scenario preference that would fall between dates, vote for the ones on either side of the date.

I just picked the ones I did because I was...

1. too lazy to look po precise historical dates of "real" ones

2. If I published the exact ones that are being considered at a design level I would find myself in a noose, dangling from the nearest yardarm.

Well, then you should have left the poll to me. :D

My votes went to 1453 (GC), 1525 (Reformation, religious wars in Europe), 1650 (post TYW).

Since I like making the biggest mark possible, only the earliest possible start year will do :D

I'm with jpd; I've started later scenarios to have a look-see, but it's the GCs that really get played :)
