We going to use Peter Ebbesen's mod? If we have more than 8, we will need to do something. His mod is the choice of MP players
everywhere

I will be here at 6 PM PST... unless something really important arises. About using PE mod, why is it necessary if we have more than 8 players? can you shed some light on the changes it makes to the game? Remember that we are keeping the game eurocentric.

Sorry, should have explained why...the normal game GC
will only allow 8 spots (just like in SP) if we have more than
8 players - the P/E mod allows for upto 24 players.

but is it compatable w/the latest beta mod? which should be applied 1st? (beta then peter or peter then beta?)

found the answer to my own compatability Q

"It will work with 1.06 beta 7 and onwards (needed for 24 player ability). It probably works best with the newest 1.07 beta, as I only test vs. newest beta"

Yes! Correct mod.

I understand you may install the mod, even if you have latest beta no problem.

If we intend to operate with more than 8 countires we should use it.



Hosting 8+ is a completely different can of worms
