An excellent choice, readers are advised to get in now to see the short posts before the Emus inevitably overwhelm the writer and the updates get longer and longer. ;) Many congratulations @Bullfilter

Your assignment, to continue the HoI incest, is to find a HoI1 that has been updated this decade.
There are easily a couple of candidates from the Darkest Hour area. Though once that box has been ticked the HOI1 and AOD sub-forums are somewhat cobweb heavy it is true.

Thank you once again to @RustyHunter for the nomination and to all those who kindly offered their congratulations. It has helped Poles Apart get off to an energetic start from the commentary perspective! The nominations went from HOI2 and HOI3 to HOI4 in June. With HOI5 yet to be released :p I’m going to break the chain and revert to a game genre that hasn’t featured yet this year, would ya believe: the old CK2!

The Dragons Realm, A House Targaryen AAR is a tale @streaker77 has put a lot of effort into and I would like to reward it with the recognition it deserves. Congratulations!

The reign of my tyrannical AAR has lasted for too long! Readers! It is time to take up AARms and overthrow him and his CK3's AAR clique! Revolución! It is time for a prosperous AAR! An exciting AAR to read and which makes us discover a region of the world so little known in this period! Long live En la sombra de Morazán: A Central American AAR (Vic2) by Presidente Zeogludon!

Once I dreamed that time would slow and I’d catch up along the way.
Now it seems it's passed me by, I'm still far late today.

Here come the tears.

Looks like it'll always be the same.
No one can race against the time.

Here come the tears.

All alone, no word emerges.
So much to write to you I should have.
Take me words, in your dreams.
Let me create, cheer for the winner.

Oh I want to celebrate, the winner in the past, I need to congratulate...
Won’t my apologies be accepted?

Here they come, here come the tears.
Here they come, here come the apologies.
Here I’m too late, here come the congrat’s.
Here for @Zeogludon, here come the cheers.

Here come the congrat's, to faraway past.
Here come the congrats, for you Zeogludon. [*]

For my pick, I would like to again nominate 'The Butterfly Effect: A British AAR' by El Pip, which is still ongoing over a decade after its creation. I remember reading it some years ago and was pleasantly surprised to find out that it is still ongoing and as good as ever. El Pip's attention to detail and willingness to touch on technical issues is impressive, well appreciated, and, frankly, amazing. The amount of effort that goes into that story constantly astounds me and I applaud the author. I also appreciate that I can read an AAR and learn about oil chemistry at the same time.

It is a recent AAR barely started a week ago but already an interesting read about a country that doesn't get much coverage in most works, probably because it is normally doomed to go out with a whimper not a bang. But our brave author has set himself the target of defying that fate, getting in some excellent history and photographs, and telling an interesting tale at the same time. So for excellent writing in the face of a terrible fate I would like to nominate King of Kings - An Iran HPP AAR by RustyHunter. Congratulations Rusty, may Persia stay un-occupied and un-annexed!

Your words are like tidal waves, reaching over the AARland
Drownin′ all in your AARs, now the congrat's unchained

On the spot of showcase is your AAR
, to congrat' with words of insanity
The invincible winner, and you know that you were born to be

You′re a word-mancAAR
Dream-makAAR
, @RustyHunter
Don't you miss congrat's from me
You're a word-mancAAR
Dream-makAAR, RustyHunter

Don′t you miss around, no, no, no

Your AAR has set the bar higher, soaring far congrat’s await
You show the words the ways of desire, now I’m late to celebrate

You're the right kind of creatAAR, to dance with words of insanity
The invincible winner, and you know that you were born to be

You′re a word-mancAAR
Dream-makAAR
, RustyHunter
Despite late I should celebrate

You′re a word-mancAAR
Dream-makAAR
, RustyHunter
Here I congratulate, yes, yes, yes

My week in the sun has come to an end, and I've decided to pass this along to Bullfilter and his latest work, Poles Apart - an HOI4 Ahistory. The Hearts of Iron incest continues, although this time it goes to the one some of us prefer not to discuss. It is just started up and has Bullfilter's characteristic excellent writing and interesting commentary, so I highly recommend it.

In the heat of the weekly of the forum
A young lurkAAR hides the pain
And walking so tall, trying to hang on
But knowing it’s too late again
Too late to celebrate
...

Darkness fades there's the winner of the weekly
In a place where the words all know the name
You can see in their song dancing so beautiful.
You’re just a lurkAAR in a losin' game
You lose against time but the winner you’ll congratulate

Hear their cries
The hardest part is the night
(In the night, hear the words’ cries, in the night)
@Bullfilter
The winner of the showcase, congrat’s, congrat’s
...

All alone in a place where the lonely
Lonely words all have to walk through the rain
And they dance on the edge where you only
Only summon them to no end
And the night ain't no friend

Hear their cries
The hardest part is the night
(In the night, hear the words’ cries, in the night)
Stay alive
Summoning the words for Bullfilter, congrat’s, congrat’s
...

These words they could tell you some stories
About creating and conjuring and summoning
There's a price that you pay for the words
About losing and choosing and pain.

Hear their cries
The hardest part is the night
(In the night, hear the words’ cries, in the night)
Against time
I’m congratulating Bullfilter, congrat’s, congrat’s
... [*]

Many songs I've invoked, about the winners I saw
My mind is a wasteland, I can't run away from time
Try to find words, all the lost thoughts in my mind
I woke up on a hill, so many times before
Yesterday seems like a dream no more
Frozen memories laughing, they don't let me catch the time
Am I a runner against time
Or a jester in the forums

I’m
the mystical old bard
On my journey through the dark
A bizarre lurkAAR
My
journey through the dark

I can't remember my name
I never knew how to find my home
I can't remember my name
Fortunately found there the winner is

I'm conjuring the words
To congratulate @streaker77
On the spot of weekly AAR showcase

In illusions and reality
I'm on my journey through the dark
I'm congratulating streaker77 on the spot

I can't remember, will I ever reach beyond time
The distance is growing, my hope has gone away
A flash of light but nothing changes
When will I jump through time, which part of me remains

Soon I'll be back, on my ferryboat of tales
Where oblivion reigns, it will take all of me

But now’s the day
To congratulate streaker77
through the dark
Now words far away
Congratulating streaker77
through the dark [*]

Thank you everyone for the kind words. This current story is without a doubt some of the most fun ive had writing in any capacity, and thanks again to Bullfitler for the nomination.

With my week at an end, and keeping in the CK2 side of the forums id like to nominate @Zamarak500 and his AAR https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/threads/the-last-days-of-the-han-three-kingdoms-aar.1425568/. I had never really seen an AAR about the romance of the 3 kingdoms mod and found it to be very unique among current AARs, the story is set at the end of the Han dynasty in China, and I find both the mods mechanics and the authors writing to be top notch. From what I understand the story is in a temporary hiatus, though this gives any potential new readers time to catch up.

Congratulations @Zamarak500. I have had the honor of being a reader since the beginning. (One of the ten custom characters is my Mo Jie. While he may not have the greatest triumphs, he has never sacrificed his honor and ideals.) Zamark's idea of a hiatus differs from mine as he added two new chapters this week. Congratulations and good luck on your upcoming thesis.
