Well it's been a week, so I'd like to nominate @El Pip for the excellent Hearts of Iron III comedy AAR Inevitable Defeat - Slovakia '44. I've never actually formally subbed to it, but believe me, I've been following the adventures of Tuka and Tiso since before I even joined these forums, and every update is nothing short of hilarious, no matter the length of time between each one, so a very well done!
Very many congratulations @El Pip . It is not one I have followed, but I from what I have heard it is indeed a treasure.

And I add (very quickly = take that!) my congrats as well . Even if I not that long ago I nearly scalded my "private-jewels" during a sudden fit of laughter; which then reminded me...to be very careful with a cup of hot java when reading THIS fellow!

If you have not read this AAR, don't be daunted that you may have a bit of catching up to do if you start from the beginning: it's very well worth it and once you are up to speed, the Lord of Slower Than Real Time will ensure you have a relaxed and comfortable wait for the comedic gems to come forth. And you don't have to know anything about the game itself to appreciate it.

He's also very correct it's an easy catch up and well worth it, it would be nice if you then commented regularly and with vigour, but that is not compulsory.

The benefits of slower-than-real-time writing are numerous and bountiful, both writer and reader.
An excellent choice, most of the updates are short and punchy so it's not as bad as it looks. Hope you enjoy getting caught up.

Feedback done, time to pass this one along. After having a bit of a thought I've decided to go for a similar long lived beast from the HOI forums, this time HOI2, for the Weekly AAR Showcase I nominate;
The Presidents: The Vietnam War Edition by @Nathan Madien - It's a politics heavy masterpiece that has been slowly but majestically ambling towards the Vietnam War for 17 game years (7 real years). Sadly Photobucket has eaten the early screenshots, but if you can ignore that it is well worth your time.
Honourable mentions go to;
Forza Italia! by @Jape - Which I missed when it started but appears up to his usual high standards, sadly not updated sine July so not really eligible for this. Given Master Jape's track record that gap probably means he's abandoned it, but hope still lives.
Horsing Around the Pacific: A (Mostly) Cavalry Based Japan AAR by @Guderian1992 - An old style 'Gameplay challenge with comedy characters' AAR. Only 2 updates in, but a promising start.
