A very German Cause
Greater Germania 1490:
We spread our influence across the Nothern German Plains uniting the Great Duchy into a Fair sized Empire... A Peaceful Treaty was struck with the Dutch for seperation of RhineLand and Lowlands alike, and peace remained between the two with the Dutch recieving much more of the Chocolate Cake than us. But was broken by the Dutch and followed by Milanese-Dutch incursions into the Allied Territories of Austria<which Milan claimed to her throne> Meanwhile the Dutch took on the grunt of the German Army and smashed it with Great Shock leaders and 2-3Xs the army size. We couldn't match their Leaders nor their French Cavalry which kept pouring in so we accepted peace by giving them what little bit we gained by our Former Non-Aggression Treaty and Eastern Parts of Germania again were stolen from us.
Germany had done many great things in Europe and beyond! Had destroyed the Vile Silesians, Subjegated every German Minor in existence aside from Austria. The second Nation in the World to colonize the New World. The Vile Scandanavians and their UberWarrior Princes had kept us from Conquoring the North but finally after losing Skane and many Wars-Battles and Great Leaders we destroyed them utterly in the Great War of Scandanavia<the Russians were of some help I must admit too, beating down the Fins and Norwegians Princes so we could focus on the Swedes though we were a bit uncertian when they may turn on us> We're temporarily waiting to extend our Reach further North and Possibly Further South.
To finalize our sessions:
No great leaders of Monarch/General Quality has blessed our ranks...nor any great Admirals for our Navy. We have done everything we have done on pure Workhorse German Fashion.
A Great Alliance formed, it seems that there was a Vileness in Europe that had to be dealt with. Germany, Milan and Leon looked towards the Dutch. No longer could the Dutch Warmongering go unchecked. The Milanese and German armies took the grunt of the Dutch and Scottish armies, 1 from the South and 1 from the East. We roared over their Plains with our own Cavalry now fresh recruits from former Silesia<the best Soldats in the entire world even if their leaders stink or are nonexistant> Despite superior Scottish reinforcements, we smashed the East and even after the Milanese ambassador struck a brokered a peace deal the Loyal Leonese kept the Dutch in Check in the South while we stayed at the Hip of the Dutch. We only gained 2 provinces<the 2 we'd lost during the burning of the original peace accord> This was an insult, no apologies were offered but we stayed with it the Milanese rejoined... The Dutch saw that their fates were ceiled and claimed they were overrun with Barbarians<hmmm, sounds like how I felt once upon a time> we regained our lost territory but the Bitter/Sour/Nasty Dutch that had besieged our very own Capitol and near sacked it are not forgotton! The rest of the World might be satisfied, but we're not! Their power has been reduced a dose but they still are the WorldWide Leaders in all areas. In North the Scots Become the tech geniuses of their time...Russia rises in the East, to the South Milan and Byzantium become increasingly Powerful. Sitting in the middle we Stand Alone, and unafraid of what may come! We're afterall Proud! We're Germania

A good session last night... still haven't done much in the way of wars but Muscovy is building Had to fight the "Stability War" all session and that was a truly epic campaign. Not as bad as TAF's (Leon's) though

Glad to be back folks, I look forward to next week and glad to see my my Sub kept me on Par with the crew. That's not easy in a competitive game like this...
