Hi all, i had seen lots of information of production of guns and tanks, but nobody say how we could change that.

If I want do a army with the old material is possible?? And how we change the veteran troops to the new weapons??

Thanks

I forget where I read it, but there are 3 sort of "ranks" you give divisions. Recruits, regular and elites or something similar. Essentially your selected elites will get your most modern/strongest equipment with your regulars getting the midrange semi old equipment and the garbage out of date equipment going to your recruits. If you want an army with the old equipment then you just leave your factories producing it with the boost in efficiency essentially giving your army a massive amount of low grade gear

I'd like to know what happens when a new division is constructed of an already existing template. For example the Germans have nominated their panzer divisions as an elite template and they're currently constructing only Pz IV's but have a mix of Pz III's and IV's in the existing divisions. When the new division is established, does it fill up entirely with new Pz IV's as they come off the production line, or are the Pz IV's as the most modern equipment distributed evenly amongst the existing and new panzer divisions with old Pz III's from the existing divisions sent to the new one?

I didn't mean setting a template as an elite or regular, but an actual division. Like if you have a panzer division that had heavy fighting in poland and then France so it has like 85% experience you would give it an elite rank. Then with this elite rank that division of those high experience men would get top tier equipment. Essentially the rank system is just a division to division basis so that your best troops get your best tanks and your fresh poorly trained recruits are using old equipment

The template will set what equipment needs to be produced.

If you want to move to the new model you change the template and also move the factories to the new model, there will be a penalty initially and then things will pick back up.

If you fully tricky out a model with all variants being 5 then it is only slightly worse that the next model, so you might want to use the old stuff till you are 2 steps ahead and the difference is worth the change in production.

Thanks but that still doesn't answer my question. Does anyone know if new divisions will fill up exclusively with newly produced equipment or will some of that newly produced equipment replace older equipment in comparable divisions with the older replaced equipment coming to the new division?

New equipment will always replace old ones if they're available in stockpile. "Elite" units will be prioritized in getting new equipment, then regular and finally reserves. If you don't have enough new equipment, then you will have a mix of the two in the division. As far as raising new division, I think they will try to get all new equipment before going for an outdated model.

this is all speculative, I don't think they have shown exactly how this mechanic works yet. or at least I've not seen it. but If you have units out there with a mix of panzer III and panzer IV and you order up a new panzer division they are gonna get all panzer III's - because if you had any of those panzer IV's in your stockpile, they'd of been shipped out to the existing divisions and panzer III's put back in the stockpile; so your stockpile in that situation is nothing but panzer III thus the new division full of panzer III's jumps right up to the top of the Queue for new Panzer IV's cause it has none, and as tanks roll off the lines it soon too will become a mix of those units. I think this is how it will work, but again I have not seen it.
