It should be harder for the Central Powers to win than the Allies regarding resources and manpower. Despite Austria-Hungary underachieving during the war, Germany overachieved like crazy. You run timelapses on this game and what % of the time you see the Central Powers win? problem seems to be the eastern front with the situation Russia has to deal with this in the scenario compared to reality. Russia threw men to the wind, made mistake after mistake against Germany, and STILL lasted for over 3 years while fighting Germany, Austria-Hungary, and the Ottomans at the same time.
now given, Russia had weaknesses during WW1 which the scenario reflects. The civil unrest, poor leadership, outdated/inadequately supplied units, lack of artillery at least compared to the Germans, and the horribad transport capacity situation to name a few. fair enough.
but Russia had a monster sized army going for it. The numbers advantage just does not seem to be reflected. Also, the amount of troops the Germans alone can throw at Russia seem rather disproportionate to what really happened. And it's not so much the number of troops the Central Powers...rather it seems like Austria-Hungary actually doesn't have enough troops while Germany has an excessive number of them (they have a ton of troops diluted on the western front and they STILL have a ton in the east). Considering the ultra high quality of German troops compared to Austria-Hungary's or Russia's, this presents a problem.
I think 1 of 2 things should be done:
1) nerf Germany's divisions and give Austria-Hungary more divisions. eastern front seems to be too high % of German divisions compared to Austria-Hungary.
2) and/or buff Russia's number of divisions (not manpower but starting divisions)
