((The Nazis were given amnesty in exchange for helping against the USSR?))
((That part of the game never worked. I'm not even sure if Germany has enough non-nazi ministers to fill all posts at that time. As Yankee fascist you're forced to get more than half of your cabinet out of Republicans after '41, just because there are almost no fascists.))

((If only we had some sort of legislative body to deal with matters like this... maybe we'd call it a Senate? ;) Post-war world will be largely our call, I think.))

((We'll just go the route of military government for now and decide after the war. Is this okay?))

((It's up to you guys. If there's a lull in the action and you want to discuss it, fine by me. We decided the Pacific's future a long time ago, after all. ;)))

((If anyone wants to discuss making a bill concerning the future of the National Socialist government of Germany, PM me. I want to hear all sides.))

son of liberty has PMed that he's had a family emergency and won't be able to participate for some time. I'm in the process of finding a new contributor, but again, our thoughts and wishes go with him.

AAR update: shierholzer has agreed to come back on a provisional basis; I don't have a timetable for when he'll have plans, but he's being given all the time he needs.

Novatheorem promised he'd post his plans yesterday; in any case, since he didn't, he won't be able to until Monday.

Pacific Plan Bravo (Operation: Elephant Grass / Firestorm)

((Speaking of Monday...))

Pacific Plan Bravo

In accordance with plans set forth by the President of the United States, operations to liberate Japanese territory from the Axis has begun. Operation Elephant Grass will focus on capturing a remaining naval base that could assist in the defense of Japan. Operation Firestorm will begin the campaign on the Japanese mainland, and establish a strong beachhead for US troops. All resources currently in theater will be used in this task and are assumed to be involved. If omitted from this briefing, they are to continue previous orders.

Unless I'm missing something, I don't see any orders here for the 1st USMC. Is this intentional?

((Definitely not intentional. This is what happens when you copy plans over at midnight... Amended.))

One more question -- what is 6th Corps? I don't see it in your table of assets.

((It is the sixth of several administrative groupings of troops within an armed force with a common function such as Artillery or Signals representing an arm of service.))

((Well played. :D I meant in this context specifically, of course.))

((6th Corps is the Armored Division that gets picked up along with 2nd USMC. I'll amend the plans to state that more clearly))

((Very good. Thanks for clarification!))

shierholzer informed me he'll have plans for us this weekend.

((I will be back in town on Monday. Until then I can't play though I do still check in.))

Okay, update on the state of the AAR. son of liberty is (or will be) Atlantic Theater Commander again. I've no idea when plans are going to be finished.

While we wait, I want to take a poll: given the frequent disturbances of late, do we want to continue this AAR? It's as much your AAR (maybe more) as it is mine. I'd be perfectly fine with just declaring victory at this point (and I'll come up with some sort of exciting conclusion to make everything nice and neat :)) Yes, I do intend to do a new AAR after this one, if that makes any difference in your decision making process.

Vote Aye or Nay; we'll close the poll Saturday at 10 PM (-6 GMT).

I vote Aye.
