We need an Amoeba and Tiyanki protection effort!

In my current game, instead of the usuall peaceful observation, I decided to try the kill an Amoeba route.

The problem is, by the time I had a fleet to figt them, they were all already dead. I've searched half the (large) galaxy (it's 2260 now, but I haven't seen any at least since 2220s) and there seems to be no hope of finding them.

I am stuck with a project that can never be finished, which requires just 1 dead Amoeba, but 1 is apparently too many.

There realy needs to be more of them in the mid-late game. Maybe a "cow-herders) Enclave or an Amoeba breeding ground in a Xenophile FE territory.

yeah, new Amoebas, Tiyanki, and maybe even Crystal Shards should spawn periodically... with special events/projects that make them stop going into your empire's borders if you really don't want them around(maybe as an editc that can be turned on/off once finishing whatever science study you go with for them.)

At the very least the event should cancel if it's impossible.
