Chukotka, as I find out, are very poor. Yet i start out as every CU player does, by getting random messages and normal missions.
Another aspect is the "New religion founded" messages. As I'm so far north that I'm likely to get religion last, I dont listen to them at this point.
After two weeks I've only managed to colonize one province. due to the large distances in northeastern Russia, I shouldnt be too depressed.
As the nation choses its path into the future, our mighty king (picture further down the post) worries of the richer neighbours. I'm obviously the poor guy of the block, as my Highest base tax in noncapital provinces is 2.00.
The always coming "First steps message". As I only have one colony (The others are out of range), it wasn't a surprise which province got it.

Thats really lousy income in comparison of the european.
Heres my capital province. As you may see, the province culture is Inuit, but my national culture is Yakut. I dont konw if this was intended, Lord Hafte, but I think you should change it.
Oh geez, how can it be that the religions are always founded that far away from me. Im gonna get annexed before I get a religion when they spawn down south.
As I'm junior in economics, i'll keep the inflation in a tight leash. Which will probably mean you'll see a lot of loans.
Hey, Hafte..... Minor problem there. My colonial range as Chukotka is too little to colonize more than one province, but I can colonize provinces out of range anyways. You may need to fix something (I must be a pain right now
).
Well anyways, I shan't complain. I can colonize more, and get a neighbour of the same culture as me.
At the same time, I notice that I have a CoT. The only provinces to use it, however are my own. Well, I dont complain, because it nets me extra colonists.
I colonized another province, bringing me up to 5. Heres a picture of my current "empire". All but one are coastal.
Oh well, they didnt spawn too far of where theyre supposed to be. This means all eastern religions are now founded and growing. All in the south, away from me.... I feel lonely..... WAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! I WANT MY MOMMY!!!!!!!!!!!
