We have lucky nations, why not unlucky nations?

so just sometimes larger nations get massive debuffs? That sounds like it would make the game even easier, by the time real AI empires finally get going you're already the global hegemon, and then nations would start getting weaker cause of some opaque unlucky modifier? That sounds awful.

This sounds like a perfect mod idea for people who want this

The unlucky modifier, is the special negative events and disasters certain nation's get. AI Burgundy can simple cease to exist and Hungary and Poland both have revolt chance increase in certain timeframes.

Poland's revolts are a joke though. Even if the noble rebels "win", Poland gains stability and turns into a hereditary monarchy anyway.

Dynamic Historical Events are leagues more interesting and better implemented than a simple blanket buff like the Lucky Nation Modifier, but I'm not opposed to the modifier anyway, by 1650 the player nation is always the #1 global super power
