Not that I know of, but it should definitely be possible. You will need to generate defensive wars against Sweden and then diploannex across northern Germany to minimise badboy. You will also need to reduce Sweden early, but keep her alive for a long time in a way that maximises the benefit to you when she gets all those events that increase her tax base and manpower.

With the manpower now generated by vassals, you might want to seriously consider taking a few provinces from Sweden in your first war and then vassalising her in your second.

Well, I didn't play as Denmark, but had completed WC with Germany (starting as one-province minor in Kustrin province) which seems to be similiar. Anyway, my strategy was to create a realm of about 30 provinces (provinces with German culture, in your case it could be whole Scandinavia plus half of Germany) and then force-vassalize every super power in the Europe - Poland, Russia, Spain, France, England. I let them grow till 1650 and then diploannexed them all :) By doing that, you should own whole Europe, half of Africa, whole Indonesia, both Americas and colony islands. Huge manpower and nothing simplier than WC.

WC with Sweden is different since they are much stronger then Denmark later on.

Well, I made one with Norway 2.5 years ago... I don't think they had one single Leader at that time :)

Anyway, for all nations playing in the Baltic area there is one province more important than any other...

And that is of course Mecklenburg. The only question is when you shall take it. The best thing is if someone else annexes them and then you can take them from the annexer for 1/2 BB points. Instead of 6. Ususally it is Denmark who does the first annexation and then you DOW Denmark. That tactic is obviously not applicable in your case :D

As I haven't tried Denmark so far, I cannot compare the two. However, if u play Sweden, the first 100 years are quite difficult. Especially if u play AGCEEP as I did. Sweden starts as a vassal, Denmark has superior manpower and higher maintenance limit, better fleet, better and more leaders. In AGCEEP they also get a COT in Sjaelland early on and there is none in Sveland. If u want one as Sweden, u have to catch Novgorod and/or Livland. It's a challange to conquer Denmark, especially as u always have to keep an eye on the Russian, whilst u don't have the manpower and cash to fight both at the same time. Nonetheless, once Denmark is out of way and u reach the golden age of Sweden, it becomes much easier.

i never tried getting a CoT in sjælland... tho' i almost always play denmark

It's a user-made moderation (Mod) - actually a combined effort from many users, and two different mods originally. It's has a lot more (and different) events than the original ("Vanilla") EU2.

AGC stands for Alternative Grand Campaign, EEP means Event Exchange Project. These used to be 2 major user made mods, which were merged. In general, AGC means a lot new countries, different start up country lay-out, a more historical map set-up. EEP offers a whole bunch of new events (both historical and random), leaders, monarchs, etc. Much more fun! The newest version runs with the 1.08 patch. It is free to download. Definitely a great fun. I have never played vanilla again since I installed it.

AGCEEP is truly awsome! It certainly increases the replayability of the game IMO.

Thanks a lot! Can you tell me what the "EGUFSM" is? At the top of the page it says "Download latest Version of the EGUFSM for the AGCEEP" but then the "EGUFSM" is mentioned nowhere else, and I don't know what I'm supposed to do with it.

I don't know what it stands for exactly (something to do with flags and shields), but EGUFSM is a mod that just adds, fixes, and cleans up all the flags and shields, menus, etc of EUII. It just makes some things look a little nicer. :) You can find it in the User Made Scenarios Forum I believe.

It stands for Enhanced Grand Unified Flag and Shield Modification (IIRC). It is pronounced E-GUM (for those who cares), and it is indeed new flags and shields for EUII - true art in some cases, with a lot of hard work and effort put into it - mainly by Birger Jarl.

Download it.
