I would recommend Austria again. They are far, far easier in my experience than the Ottomans. Maybe if you went Catholic as the Ottos and became emperor, etc., but Austria is in a great position to get Bohemia, Hungary, and the Commonwealth in PUs. Spain is doable as well. Here's the one-tag/one-faith I just did with only slightly more experience than you have. It has "my" ideas and strategy (heavily borrowed). If you search for "Overpowered Austria in 1.21", you'll see the Reddit post I used as my guide.

As to your game, it might still be possible by the numbers but very hard if you don't have a lot of experience. You need Admin Ideas and full absolutism to make the run as easy as possible. It's not unreasonable at all to revoke in the mid-16th century. I did it in 1557.

The combined power of client states/non-HRE vassals would be dangerously high. Also need to be at peace to release CS which really slows down blobbing pace. The war score/OE reduction helps a lot but only up to a certain point. War micro, siege timers, rebel extermination, and coring time bottlenecks the in game time it would take to WC. HRE vassals probably won't have high absolutism either.

Almost shed a tear reading this.
personally I just peace all wars when im gonna do that and eat a couple separatist sentiments if needed, release several cses and let them explode in rebels lol, I was just hoping youd give me the dev because I dont recall the rules that well, is it one ws = 1 dev at 1444? because if so I think my math is giving me getting 800 dev per cobelligerent, and 400 for non. thats >200 dev/year if you can finish a war against only 2 in 5 years (and then you can break/re-war for the rest in less time due to no forts).

yeah thats why you have to use cses because vassals dont have all the reducers and will cost too much ws and the game wont let you overextend them past 100% after the war is done, annoying, you have to peace on your own occupation and then figure out how to get out of the hot potato. You can always break truce I guess with so many vassals and do minimal coring yourself (if any) and use your admin for stab though.

With the hre i wouldnt care about rebels, I mean the other vassals (the ones not pushing east) can go help that way, you just have to build the stable ones +forcelimit and universities if they lack

Forts are overall very expensive. The idea is to have an easy time carpet sieging him in the next war. Or better yet, if countries pop out of him due to the War Exhaustion and isolated pockets, free conquest for you!
ok if the target is under low stab and has many rivals around, ming comes to mind. But ive found out I want to minimize chopping once you got absolutism, if your target has >10k ducats and you dont war them again until the long truce ends, you will find forts, on all pieces, and it will be a pain. Also, if you wont wait the long truce, then you dont care about pieces or no pieces. So, you o take all the forts you can, but also avoid breaking into pieces.

There another major advantage to splitting up. The enemy will have difficulty massing armies after you stackwipe the first one, plus it will be easy to carpet siege them given that most of their provinces will border you at that point

Thing is, with adm eff, ws red from dip, ws red from rev, napoleonic warfare and barrage you end up with ~1.400 relative dev to conquer, no fort stronger than lvl4 and you can pump all provinces into vassals.
Them being disloyal doesn't matter because vassals can't declare independence as long as they're at war.
At least until the current patch. But them not being able to declare independence has been standard for many patches now (for whatever reason).

Or just go like TMIT and DoW everything at once, sit on it until the last few years and grab the whole world by sending peace treaties for an hour.

I secretly wish Paradox would make coring time scale better with CCR so that no one has to sit on 10 wars at 100 WS while waiting for cores to finish.

Maybe, but then again we just got a massive adm eff buff recently in combination with two age bonis which make sieging a joke instead of a chore.

Tons of WCs and TTMs since then compared to what we had before. I don't think we really need ANOTHER tool to make it even easier.
