Hello, this is my second Ironman run and my third run at all in this game, because of this i dont know how a WC is possible.
It is still possible to do the WC in 1712? Or should i restart?
Should i take more stab hits for the next run? And which Nation is better then Austria for this?
Some general advices for a WC?

I think it might be possible if you have high Admin efficiency. If you annex an overlord nation, you take its colonial nations, so the only problem is Asia. If you beat Russia tho, you pretty much win. Can you strike a PU somehow within 10 years?

As for tips:
Absolutism is key in the late game.
You only need Admin up to tech 23 for Imperialism, use the surplus for coring
I presume you revoked, so don't be afraid to give provinces to the princes to core. Easier to integrate when you form HRE

I did revoke at 1623.
But the Peacetime and Warscore cost are soo high.

You would need to give more information then, such as idea groups, economy tab, tech, # of HRE vassals, etc. I can only provide a rough estimate. Ignore generic advice that doesn't apply to this run since HRE WCs are very different.

It's definitely possible in principle, especially if you're happy to eat a lot of uncored territory in the end, but this probably won't be the run where you make it.

I'd recommend trying and playing it out regardless, so that you get the practice at playing the big endgame. That's the only really good way to learn how to do it.

Obviously, vassal feeding will be your game, although I recommend taking at least harder to convert provinces for yourself to keep your missionaries busy at least. You don't wanna have a vassal sit on an unconvertable province for 40 years and deal with the rebels

Need Admin still for an HRE WC since you have to core some land yourself to get CB and if vassals are too overextended or can't reach. Before revoking, release every tag possible especially on the European border. The more vassals that can be fed, the less you have to core yourself.

Make every vassal into a march and divert trade, use IA or prestige to buy down LD. Keep individual vassal development below 25% or else march bonuses don't apply.

Take whatever is needed for a land bridge to the capital and to get CBs on new targets, feed the rest to vassals that have the best ideas - admin, humanist, etc.

When should i take Admin?

Should i kill my own vassals for Bridges?

Which Country is good too for a WC?

I will play this run to the end, but i wont be able to WC so i want to make plans for a new WC Run.

Ottomans are seen as the go-to WC country, because they have a strong early-game and -33% coring cost

Try to do the WC, if you can manage multiple fronts you might be able to get close at least, maybe even succeed

Probably 3rd or 4th as Austria, your other ideas are fine. Hordes or Ottoman are easier for WC if you learn basic blobbing mechanics such as AE, coalitions, coring, what to take in peace deals, etc. HRE is very different. You can seize land for bridges if you've made mistakes during the peace deal. After a while everything can fed, especially same cultural group provinces to vassals.

For example if expanding in North Africa, take only the province needed to border the next country and feed the rest to different vassals to extend their coring range. If expanding inland, make a snake to the next target and give the rest away, but maximize the number of vassals that can be extended to the next war target.

Ottomans have had 20% CCR for many patches. Here's some basic math.

- He has about 20k development left in the world and 109 years left.
- 20k/109 = 183 development/year.
- The OE, AE, war score and coring cost are reduced by admin efficiency, but he still has to fight all the wars, micro, manage vassals, kill rebels, so the time it takes to annex that development is only partially reduced.
- Expanding at anything past 100 dev/year takes a lot of experience, patience, and knowledge of mechanics.
- Expanding at 180 dev/year is pushing the limits of the game regardless of admin efficiency. It translates to conquering the entire world in a little more than 100 years.

On the likely chance that you don't believe me, take out a calculator next time and see how fast you were expanding after blobbing as hard as possible for 50 years late game.

Just checked, it is 20%, pardon me. The point still stands, combined with Admin you get almost half the cost

As for the late game, there is still fighting on multiple fronts, delegating land to vassals etc. It will certainly be very difficult for him to succeed, but he should try his hardest and we should help him

Also, have you excluded Americas and Oceania for those 20k Dev, given how annexing the overlord gives you the subject and all?

Also, he might end up being lucky and score a PU over Russia or Spain, which will quicken the process a lot

Open the game, check ledger, get a calculator, add up the development of the countries you mentioned. Do the math I just posted, draw a conclusion. There's a difference between helping from experience and giving terrible advice.
