Real world conquest is indeed nearly impossible. Protectorating and making half the world your vassal/client state is doable for most good players. Sadly this is what most people aim for.
It is not, I will most likely achieve a 1 tag WC by 1700 (or sooner) but in a worst case scenario I will achieve it by 1740.Real world conquest is indeed nearly impossible. In addition to what has been said so far you can now revoke the privilegia before 1470 if all else fails
You need to store enough IA in the form of provinces before revoking; giving 12 provinces to your allies shoud be enough but just in case I would give them 16 because the game seems to be bugged ATM (...)How does this work? I always found the last revoke reform required adding new HRE provinces which you won't have by 1470
Not 100% sure about this. This guy has finished a normal WC in 1695:Real world conquest is indeed nearly impossible. Protectorating and making half the world your vassal/client state is doable for most good players. Sadly this is what most people aim for.
When your protectorates westernize, do you get an option to DOW them and vassalize them?

126 years to core/annex all those former protectorates sounds like an awfully long time. I doubt he'll do it since it's incredibly boring.
126 * 12 * 11 = 16632 ADM / 15 (ADM idea) = 1108 BT he could core. And that's with an average ADM 3 ruler, plus he can annex a lot of his vassals so he only spends DIP. Adding claims on top and other cost reducing thingies, he could probably core 1500 BT at least and probably diplo annex at least 800-1000 BT. Considering his existing possessions and the fact that he hasn't used his magic HRE button, it's pretty close to a one tag WC - quite impressive for Norway.
Since I will be in a permanent state of war the vassals should be able to take care of most rebellions so lower tech vassals despite very useful might not be needed; yes I plan on bringing no less than 10 princes to core Ming but I suspect that what I really need are 15-20.yeah, one-tag requires you set up the HRE princes in advance. I assume you are using HRE Crimea as the main horde land holder, and using multiple vassals to chain around Africa to get coring range? (I think you'll need several princes at once to core stuff fast enough, but I haven't done the basetax math) Aq Qoyunlu is also rather easy to get into HRE as well.
One quirk I discovered is that horde nations do not get re-released as Khanates, but instead as tribal governments (though retaining nomad tech). I doubt that will be a problem, though.
Technically, nomad tech HRE vassals are not necessary, but they should greatly reduce the rebel stomping insanity.
Oh they need land connection? Damn I wanted to create my Dutch Raj.I thought client states were same continent only, or land connection. This is unlikely for the western HRE strats, but I suppose it works with Ottos.

vassals are semi unreliable with dealing with other vassals rebels. Occasionally they help, occasionally they gather up into a 200-stack and die horribly to attritionSince I will be in a permanent state of war the vassals should be able to take care of most rebellions so lower tech vassals despite very useful might not be needed; yes I plan on bringing no less than 10 princes to core Ming but I suspect that what I really need are 15-20.
It's abit though when I already control all of the low countries.Move capital?

Yeah since I'm in the HRE I can't move my capital out of the it.Oh right, I forgot they made moving your capital harder...well, you can try to get a land connection anyway![]()
I think he meant a World Conquest in the Sense of conquering every province (no vassals, no protectorates). World Domination (controlling the world by using vassals and protectorates) is much easier and necessary for the achievement. So yes, the achievement should be possible "quite easily".Johan made an explicit reference in one of the dev diaries that WC would now be impossible. I think this has been exaggerated, as most of the new provinces are in protectorate land. This will make carpet-sieging take a bit longer, but it should still be doable.

I rather wonder whether Three Mountains is still possible.
