Want to solicit some advice for my first WC attempt (for achievement, vassals okay).
Current situation (see attached) in 1508:
Just about to form Yuan, have banked monarch points for unstate/restate and culture shifts.
Idea groups - Administrative filled out, Exploration filled out
Vassals: Sibir, Kazah, Yarkland, Mongolia, Orissa
Colony - 2nd one in Alaska right now, snaking down to Mexico. Other one in Cape, going up to Kongo then West Africa
Reforms - 0 currently, will need to boost up after forming Yuan
Harmony - 0 currently, Muslim done in 1540, Pagan, Mahayana, and Dharmic Harmonized
Rivals - Ottomans
Golden age - ends 1534
Opportunities - Perm just got released, Khoreshan has 2-3 provinces right now, both willing to be vassalised
Planned route:
Form Yuan and restate - <1 year
Continue eating Kilwa and Zanzibar coast - 1516
Declare on Vijayangar (no allies, only Hindu, no AE with any of my tributaries) - 1508-1510?
Kongo - 1510-1520?
Ethiopia - 1520-1530?
Mamaluks - 1530 - ?
Japan - 1540 to harmonize next, or take vassal if damyio breaks free?
Mexico - 1515-1530? Try to conquer all natives
Peru - TBD
Russia - take back Perm cores and release Novgorod - ASAP
Persia - try to vassalize a Persian minor and feed.
Ottomans -Rush?
1580 - raise autonomy for 1610 absolutionism
1610 - trigger court and country
1610-onwards -West Africa, North Africa, Ottomans?
Ideas - Influence next, then humanism, then Offensive ?
Questions:
Where should trade be collected? Should I move trade capital to SEA, India, Zanzibar, or move capital to Constantinople and make a trade company out of everything?
Developing for institutions - should I try to trigger global trade or is it okay to develop
Worth 'pausing' for 10 years to counter the court and country disaster?
