My robot-centered empire build (non-Mechanist)
The strategy centers around leveraging the low housing cost & zero CG cost of robots / enslaved synths (housing costs same as bio slave but can do specialist jobs) to field a massive, cheap workforce which excels at handling everything but Rulership, Leadership, trade value jobs, and research.
A robot or droid servant with Double Jointed (-10% housing cost) would take so little housing that it's practically a rounding error.
