That's weird how games differ, as UK I just puppeted US in Nov 1941. (Yeah, I was waiting for Germany and Italy to finally do something usefull like maybe attack France and in the meantime I had like 3 full armys standing by, so I decided to show my old colony, who the king in the house is. (and also to be able to intervene in America, now that US guarantees don't count for me ) ^^)
Yeah I took out the US one time as the UK with nothing but INF and TPs, its too easy!
I had to hurry, but in the end the US war ended, before Italy joined the war. ^^
And it blew my entire game plan. The idea was to let France fall, get all those nice modifiers from stuff France owns and then untimately conquer the SU with army groupy marching from portugal to Moscow. But Germany and Italy basically fail hard and they have 1 french province atm. ^^
Now it seems I have to do it without a few modifiers and without France as a power base. Bad for my supply lines. Let's see how this one ends.

I always love having 400 IC as the USSR and then getting another hundo from the helpful Americans

The most fun I've had invading the USA was playing out the "Red Alert 2" scenario, where I used spies to infiltrate Mexico and Cuba.
Paratroopers from Cuba, tanks through Texas, and Naval invasions of both coasts lol.

Dec 1941, USA is giving me (UK) 116 IC in Lend Lease... Dammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
Meanwhile, when I play the USA:

I never give lend lease to my allies. I can use my ic much better than the ai ever will.
My Supreme Soviet build I was operating (1942, yet prior to war with Germany) on 622 effective IC, with no help from the US! Now imagine getting lend lease on top of that.

Haha, and not a bad approach as well. I experimented giving the UK 100-odd IC through lend-lease in my US playthrough (it's not as if the US can't boss it up even with that being sent out) and they were still pretty useless. They didn't even give me anywhere near 100 IC's worth of units in expeditionary forces once I'd landed on the continent (and by that stage, they'd had 100 IC for a while)! Love the meme

In one France game, I gave the Belgians LL to the tune of like 50 IC once my troops had moved into Belgium and held the line against the Germans. They were surviving, and I wanted them to use it to keep my troops in their territory adequately supplied (just in case).
They started building IC with it....

I never did it in the past but Ive become a big fan of tag switching in the past year.
I like when I get the Germans to nearly 1000 IC. I puppeted the US and they doled out 350+ IC to Japan, Italy and some of the other Axis cronies. I have been giving 20-35 IC to the primary Axis partners since '40.
I'm glad Japan got the extra 150~ IC. I want them to be as powerful as possible when the Reich comes for Tokyo.
It will be ironic and anachronistic for German troops and their American puppets to march through the radioactive wastelands that will become of the Home Islands. A war purposely made more difficult by German design! Muhahaha!
What's that Japan? You need 8 more CVs and 25 marine divisions?
America! Pay for that! Quickly! The Wehrmacht needs more to grind!
