well, what to do about sid? kick him out? or give him a last chance and if he brings up more BS its over. sweden wants some edits i am not sure if i should give them
I believe all this drama and personal attacks on him must have been more painful than any imposable punishment that you can make up. Just leave it.
What edits are we talking about for Sweden? He wasn't in the session anyhow, I don't think he should get any compensation for what happened, we are not even sure he would have won, or if he really would have attacked (I would have tried talking him out of it for sure).

Ofcourse we can't be sure i would have won, but since i didn't get the chance due to Sid saying there was a nap and all, i do feel it would be fair for Sweden to be compensated.
Let him play and let Aladar and Sid try to solve the matter themselves. Aladar at least seems to be willing to accept a settlement with Russia.
If they do not reach an agreement I'd offer Sid to choose between giving a minor compensation to Sweden or (if we can find a suitable sub) taking an offtime for a few weeks. His case could then be reviewed some time in the future depending on the situation his attitude and wether you want him in the game or not.
Since I am not in favour a hardline stance I can't think of a better sollution.
Any kid of discinplinary edits would significantly alter game balance, also I didn't break the rules. Also what kind of edits did Sweden ask for? Usually when one wants edits they should be made public otherwise they are suspicious and that is what cheating actually is.

Well, if he doesn't learn his lesson here, I suppose it would also be ok to simply ostracize him in future games.
It was martmol who invited me. And its up to you if you wanna have not enough reliable players but so far I've been here for each game and every game and miss only 1% of my games so yeah up to you.
Claiming that Sweden should not be compensated or Russia not punished for what you did, because of gamebalance or because you are a reliable player is mixing apples with bananas.
No one says you aren't reliable, and i'm rather sure most of us are concerned with the gamebalance, but that just doesn't justify it.
I've asked Martin for 800d compensation for the loss - and no punishment for Russia mind you.
I've also send Sid messages that i wish to negotiate for provinses, but haven't heard back yet. I'll send a PM with them so you can look at it.

It depends heavily on the situation. If Aladar really had the advantage, 2-3 provinces should be given to Sweden, along with some loans edited for Russia.
And to be frank, if any cash is to be edited to Sweden, then let Russia pay for it. The 800d Aladar wants as compensation wouldnt simply pop up out of thin air.
I agree. Russia was heavily occupied in war with the Mughals and had WE of 9 or even 10. They were plagued with revolts on several fronts, and paying BB to help them with the rebels. A Swedish attack at the point when Ampo threatened would surely have resulted in either a quick Swedish win, a more expensive Swedish win AND Mughal win, or just a hard fought Swedish war with Mughals gaining a quick win. Russia would not have beaten both of them.

I am supporting an agreement between Sweden and Russia about the border zone to bring back peace to that sector. I dont think Sid should be punished, but forced to make an agreement with Sweden.
