Well, I did get tired of them in the period when I was ganged every 5 years for two or three sessions. So it's not unlikely I mentioned that to people. To my defence; I did have more skilled attackers than Mats seems to have in this game. And I didn't really have a chance to stop you guys from beating me.
I did not realise that it had helped stopping them, as I always contributed that to support from the nations that didn't join in the gangs. Drake en Ear eventually started (or resumed in Ear's case) attacking some of the members of the coalition against me. But, then again, there are usually lots of things one doesn't know.
While I disagree with Sid's outright lie about the NAP we should keep in mind that this is only a game. We are not playing for gold wine and women but to have fun. Most people have their weaknesses and most have acted as a 'crybaby' already once in their live so all of you try to cool down and act as mature as you'd like Sid to act. Show the "sportsmanship" you'd like to see from Sid. Many players are simply to be unable to sustain as much pressure as Russia has to in the current game without breaking and beeing cut off from Siberia while under attack from Sweden and constantly threatened by an OE that is far superior certainly is much pressure.
If you realy feel "Sid" has to be punished then give him some off-time to recover apart of the game while getting a sub/replacement for him. If you feel "Russia" has to be punished I'd have to disagree as making Russia any weaker than it currently is would be foolish. That said I prefer an arrangement between Sweden and Russia who are the nations involved and which I think is quite possible.
