Since they've announced 2, does that mean we are done with updates for C:S? Is this the final form of the game?

I'm more concerned about the remaining bugs that have been lingering for months. The moderators just give vague answers to when or if they'll be fixed.

Still vague but whatever...and if you don't have an Instagram account I guess you're pretty much out of the loop. The words "very soon" have been said many times and weeks and months ago by the moderators here. But hey, they're probably just as much in the dark as a lot of us here...
I hate it when things get announced on twitter and instagram. Why not in the official forums?

There was some more stuff to come accoording to roadmap incl Africa and some other stuff as a last hurray! I have to assume that be it than. Can't wait for CS2.
Cities: Skylines turns 8 years old tomorrow, the 10th of March. I'd be very surprised if that wasn't the day that CO publishes the roadmap for CS1.

The CO devs have pretty much abandoned the forums. We only get one-way announcements and no opportunity for actual discussion. We only have one person (Avanya) who engages with us, but 9 times out of 10 his answer is "I don't know."
I mean, come on, we don't even have a CS2 forum yet. When Vicky 3 was announced, a new forum was added in something like a day or two.

C:S 2 forums are up and running on the main game page. The first topic is from the same day as the announcement.
I just looked all over the Paradox forums and I don't see a forum specifically for CS2, so I don't know what you're talking about. The only discussions forum I see is on Steam, which is something every game gets on that platform.

Sorry about the extra searching you had to do. I meant to be clearer that I was talking about the steam discussion page, as I originally planned to link to it, but since I'm new here, I wasn't given (still don't have) link posting privileges.
I would figure the steam discussion page counts, as there have been a few responses from Avanya setting the record straight on leaks, rumors and keeping the discussion on-topic.

Check at steam database, there's possibly few coming soon and they just posted something on the FB page

As KingLeno has had his own CCPs my bet is on this to get added to the base game, especially for console players
On C:S2 I got the same feeling - I think the CCP contributors worked on behalf of CO on assets/networks for the new base game besides the hired developers which were modders in before (like Boformer, TPB and MacSergey
)The "big bang" on C:S1 might be community content existing as well as new content provided for free as well as improvements on the modability and/or raising or removing limitations. The community could take the game over afterwards, improving it further as a hobby
Latest image shows something like modern church or art centre and there's a car park which looks not connected to building
Look like Vacation DLC mini pack is actually the last pack as per the latest announcement today.
