Not afraid, I'm way too powerful for both Poland and Austra

The problem is that if a country falls apart - it happened for a reason, and this reason was artificially edited out. So Poland got rewarded for their play, which is a problem in the long run.

I'm probably not going to be able to play in 2 weeks, since I'll be off to Vienna.

In general, its better to finish the game while its "hot", so even if you leave office early one evening, playing for 4 hours or so may change a lot ...

Agreed, i'm sure we can find one evening during the week (4-5 hours).

Definately this week is out for me - unless I learn last second that a previous engagment is out.

If we do it by VP then I think its all over unless all of us jump france - also next games we should limit the colonization to NA and SA and block it off at iraq area as otherwise the boarder countries will be able to expand with no limit.

Also we need to balance the game so that we are not set up as huge countries by mid 16 cent. Maybe start a later year or with smaller countries.

I think paradox should make it harder to keep such huge countries - it looks that it was made much easier in 1.08 as there are less revolts?

Wednesday, thursday and saturday are ok for me. But i'm not sure if one or two days will be enough to colonize and civilise continental Europe. You know i'm still fighting with other barbarian tribes in N. America, but i'll do my best. So to all of you don't worry i'll teach you soon how to drink tea :rofl: .

BTW, i can play couple hours weekdays and weekends like last time if set up enough early.

We can do this at my flat (not very big but I am the only one that lives there) where I can even distribute internet conn to all so we can even participate in some bigger game; think about advantage of such case.... :rofl:

Well, they do have a reasonable land tech and are quite strong. The point is, as a house rule we should have that if a country falls apart, and we put it back together again, after it recovers we should reinstate some of its previous values ... otherwise it just encourages invasion sprees. There still is Spain and England you know ...

As for Internet play, I think its best if we just stay on a LAN, otherwise it will lead to even further complications ... I'm sure we can get more people playing, 7-8 is quite realistic (we have 2 others in our gaming group that were not available earlier)

I know little about EU2 house rules as I don't understand fully all the concepts and I am primarily a HOI player so I think Maur or Med should be the ones suggesting house rules

As for availability times for continuing our EU2 game: this thursday evening is possible, this saturday (alternatively this sunday) too. Next week I am probably going to Vienna, so the next weekend will be out. 28/29.08 is a possibility - but then we may consider playing HOI instead perhaps (depends on the players).

Sorry for not dropping in lately, as I told you I went to Beskides and returned today. Indeed, we had a great game (loosing is my favourite sport... kind of national sport it seems). I'm eager to play another one.

It's not a good idea to "finish EU2 and play some HOI" - we are going to finish EU2 or we are going to start new game i.e. HoI 1.06c. We can't do bove.

Also whole week is alot of time i would prefer to play for two or even three weeks one day each (for example whole saturday or sunday).

he he - the girl finally got to you . anyways I agree with the first part - I would rather concentrate on one game - if I was to vote I would start a new 6 player HOI. Doing both is rather not feasable.

As to the amount of time we play --- I can play the whole week of the 28/29 so I will adjust to what the rest wants.
