warning on load

I recently changed my old video card for a HD7750 with 4096MB

Now every time i start the game i get this popup

In the system log i get:

Crusader Kings II require at least 512MB of video memory to work properly.

It seems the game detect only 232MB. Any idea what's the problem?

PD: with the old videocard i never got this popup.

PD2: in the EUIV demo i get the same popup.

A bug either in your card's firmware, driver or somewhere in Windoze. I had the same with my old HD 4350 which had 512 MiB RAM installed yet 64Bit Dxdiag reports ~200 MiB (standard 32Bit Dxdiag reports the full 512 MiB).
Ck2 obviously rely on what's reported by the OS, I always got the Popup but game worked.
AFAIR there's no HD7750 out with less than 512 MiB RAM but I have not heard of one with 4 GiB RAM.

PD: you are rigth, 64bit DXDiag reports 232MB video memory

Well there you go, we just use what DirectX tells us. Make sure you have at least the latest video driver

If that doesn't help, try the latest beta driver on that same page. If that still doesn't help, you'll need to contact AMD/ATI support.
