Warlock Multiplayer Features

Does anyone know if the multiplayer for Warlock: MotA is going to allow for AI players or what other changes are coming once it's out of beta?

My wife and I both love the game but are disappointed we can only play multiplayer against one another or other humans... What ever happened to working with someone else to destroy a world full of evil artificial people so that I don't have to work with other real ones?

Seriously, though, we are very interested in knowing more about what might be coming.

yes, you can have x players + y AI factions, so in that sense the human players can work as a team and clean out the AI factions

check out the MP AAR we are putting up - there are 4 humans and we left in 1 AI faction for a bit of variety - its here

While creating new multiplayer game, let's say large map, put rival great mages to number of 6. Then let your wife join and launch the game. Voila... you have 2 human players and 5 AI players (you and (wife + 5 AI as rivals).

Good to know. But will it put the two human players on the same team? Otherwise, I suppose that can be achieved through diplomacy. Even then though I can only one player achieve victory (is team victory possible?).

If not, I hope a true team setting will be added plus team victory conditions (like in Age of Wonder 2). I would enjoy a game with friend on my team vs. an alliance of AI. Take them down one by one...

I'm still waiting for HotSeat. I don't have 2 pcs and I'm not interested in playing with people I don't know, so the only options is to play a short, fast game with GF or friends from time to time, but that could only be possible if HotSeat is finally enabled...

Problem here is I think hotseat is not being deployed because it does not give any aditional sale
