Warentry and Axis Aggression

Does Allied warentry automatically get a boost whenever the Axis attack somebody, or only in the scripted events? If Germany decides not to wait for Anschluss and invades Austria normally, does that cause Allied WE to go up? How about if Germany invades Brazil?

I've tried to attack Belgium in Jan '36 and France goes from 0 to 25% WE, UK from 0 to 20% and the US from 0 to 8%.

Any and all Axis aggression causes the Allied WE scores to go up.

Yes, Belgium is a democracy. I've found that attacking democracies draws a pretty quick Allied DOW, but they do not seem to bat an eye at taking over paternal autocrats.

Warlords fighting each other doesn't normally attract the attention of democracies.

Conquering continents usually does get noticed yes.
