OK, one hour down. I've tested some new content, fixed a bug and the mod is running OK.
I've checked the last ten posts on this thread. I forgot to mention some other last minute content for the mod while it is being tested: Steel Plague, Enclave events, perhaps Dixie material (unlikely), Mainframe Insanity chain.
And here are the precursor already done. I just want to share them as it inspires me to finish the end game chain now. And you must listen to this music while reading:

Legend of the Chosen One
You would have heard of the Chosen One. Everyone has. It seems as though his legend grows with each passing year. A few generations ago, someone called the Vault Dweller defeated the Master who was plotting to take over Wastelands with his army of supermutants. His daughter runs what is now New Arroyo, and his grandson is the Chosen One who again saved the Wastelands from the diabolical plans of the Enclave. What a family, hey? The stories about the Chosen One just seem to grow every year. He is beyond any level of reality now, a figure of epic myth. He apparently disappeared from New Arroyo a while ago. Of course, that only adds to the mystique and fuels his legend.
- Hmmm, I see
Campfire Tales
'Hey, did I ever tell you fellers about the time I met the Chosen One? Only ten times? Good, I'll tell ya again in case ya fergot sumthin'. I wuz workin' out on the western ranges herdin' brahmin. I chased a stray down a canyon but oh boy, I didn't know what wuz a-comin', nosiree. Deathclaws! Fifteen of 'em!! What's that? Naaah, I didn't say twelve last time, it was fifteen I tell ya! You aint rememberin' it right. Anyways, where wuz I? Yeah, fifteen Deathclaws, a whole pack! The biggest one was nine feet tall! Thought I wuz a gonner... then I hear this hum and a Highwayman comes around the bend. Out hops the Chosen One and his pals and they open fire. Blamm, blamm, blamm! The whole pack turns on 'em but they mow 'em down, all except the biggest one which leaps over a boulder and slashes the Chosen One, rippin' through his armor with its claws. I thought the guy was dead for sure! But instead of collapsin' like I woulda, the Chosen One jumps back up and smashes his power fist into the side of the Deathclaw's head, right on the temple, and kills him dead in one blow! Brains and bone everywhere. I nearly threw up. So anyways, I get up from where I wuz covering them with me pipe rifle and I thank 'em. They dust theyselves off, say "it's OK" and head off in their car down the canyon like nothin' ever happened. Now that Chosen One, he's really sumthin' can't ya tell?'
- No way, Jonas! You're making that up
Intelligence Reports
You get some reports from your intelligence agents that there seems to be some network operating within your borders that they are having trouble tracking down. They are fairly sure that some group is gathering intelligence but they keep losing the trail and hard facts are hard to come by. Whoever it is, one thing is sure: they are very good at what they do. They are redoubling their covert efforts to find out what is going on.
- Tell my agents to stay alert
Cries of the Hopeless
Life in the Wastelands is usually quite hard even with the re-emerging nation states, especially for the ordinary people. They work hard to scratch a meager living and untimely death is common as the Wastelands has many perils that can claim a life. You are struck one day by a scene as you travel through the streets to your headquarters. A woman is clutching the bloody body of a man in the streets and wailing in grief. You hear her cry out 'Where are you, Chosen One? The people need you, Mahdi!'. You order your car to stop, caught by the scene you are witnessing. Then she screams 'This wouldn't happen if the Chosen One were here! Someone would DO SOMETHING about killings in the OPEN STREETS!'. She is hysterical and sobbing. Some people try to comfort her but she shakes them off. 'WHERE ARE YOU, CHOSEN?' she screams. Then she breaks down into sobs and buries her face into the corpse of her murdered husband.
- A myth cannot help you, he likely dead by now. This life is all we have
Recruitment Network
Your intelligence service has uncovered a recruitment program secretly taking place within your nation. They were first alerted when some skilled people mysteriously vanished. After a number of months of counterintelligence operations, they have found out more. This recruitment program operates very cautiously to try and stay hidden but has a large area of operations. It has links to nations far away from your borders and it is run very secretly and with great effectiveness. Your people are having trouble countering it. Remember the earlier intelligence report regarding a covert intelligence network operating in your nation? Your intelligence agents say the two are linked. Your spy chiefs are worried at this stage. The evidence is that your nation has been seriously infiltrated by a highly skilled spy network for a number of years now. The only good news is that little damage appears to be done. Only a small number of people have been taken away and no bases have been attacked using intelligence breaches, at least as far as you know.
- I want this network smashed! Redouble efforts
This is Getting Out of Hand
Chosen One this, Chosen One that... blah, blah, blah... it goes on and on. You have just received reports from your security services that people are making shrines to the Chosen One. Some have even written down his exploits into a book and this is being put on small altars in these shrines. It's getting ridiculous! Luckily, it's a fairly new phenomenom so you might be able to crack down it successfully. The alternative is to try and reason with your people and implement a counter propaganda campaign.
- Crack down on this cult
- He is not the Messiah! You are all individuals!
Rumours from the North
You're hearing rumours that there is something strange happening in the far north. Your intelligence services have confirmed sightings of large military forces in otherwise empty regions of what used to be Canada before the War. They are apparently not affiliated with any known group but do bear markings. Perhaps coincidentally, people across the Wastelands are murmuring about the Chosen One returning to the Wastelands. You can't tell if this is just speculation based on these reports of unknown armies or if there is some actual connection to the Chosen One. Given the increasing issues relating to the Chosen One as a messiah figure amongst many people in the Wastelands, your agents have been trying to find out more about what happened to him. The most credible evidence suggests that he did disappear into the northern regions years ago. Anyway, rumours are flying around the Wastelands, passing from ear to ear.
- Something big is going on, I can feel it
The North Star is Shining
There is no doubt about it. A powerful group is occupying the otherwise empty northern lands in the inhospitable Ice Wastes. How they are surviving there is beyond your understanding. The Wastelands are on fire with rumours of the Chosen One returning at the head of a powerful army. His devotees say that he comes to wage a final war which will bring peace and the rebirth of civilization in North America. What is called the Northern Star is shining unusually brightly these days. The people are holding massed vigils at night to watch it grow ever brighter. Your scientists tell you this not actually a star but a pre-War satellite. The people are calling it a sign of the Chosen One. You realise that anyone who can change the orbit of a pre-War satellite must have technology, resources and a lot of power behind him. You feel that you had better get ready. The thunderclouds of a great war are gathering over the Wastelands.
