War Support

How can you increase war support? Pretty crappy to be pushing through the low countries as Germany with only 28% war support, (which I wasn't aware of at the time, I tended to ignore it) and then an announcement about my army threatening to mutiny!

The game seems to be hit and miss. Sometimes I can roll through Poland, other times they put up real stiff opposition and I lose 100k men taking them down. Other times I roll through the low countries and smash in to France, and others I have even been stopped in Belgium by French troops!

Ugh, no consistency at all!! And this is even on Recruit difficulty while I'm messing around with various settings. So much for Goebbels as Propaganda Minister!

You gain WS by completing the annexation focuses. Anschluss, Sudetenland, czech fate.
Goebbels helps too.

Hard to say anything in your game results, but If YOU Jeep doing the same Thing, it shows that the AI is actually behaving differently, which is a plus.

But it Looks Like you are still learning that game's mechanics, so keep those questions coming.

Yeah I have the "instant war" mod because I got a bit behind with my focus trees for getting to war with Poland, it happens sometimes. Rather than do "War with France" & "Around the Maginot" I just used it to instantly declare war on Netherlands & Belgium......cue -20% war support hit because I was then conducting an "offensive war" in the eyes of the German people! The problem was, it was January 1940 by the time I was rolling in to Poland and it wasn't until March they surrendered, that's how behind I was! Maybe with those few extra months of preparation is why they were able to bleed 100k troops from my manpower! This was still with complete air superiority over Poland ( Had over 4000 fighters in reserve) and Stuka's raining down on them.
