Cicero,

Good to see you again. Yes, if you can commit to play every week. Please rank your preferences.

Folks, more than three if you please. The way this system works, I need an ordering of all the countries you'll play.

May I suggest to you, HoG, that you make use of a/the modified religion.csv file as to ensure that every state gets the same amount of diplomats, colonists and missionaries, independent of religion. Not using such seriously cripples a nation like Persia, and to a lesser extent OE and NL.

tell me about it, as persia in the watk game having 1 diplomat a year made it very hard to get nations diplo-anexed

What about the significant edits you did in the earlier campaign to the Ottoman leaders?

You'll need to check if Alba and Blucher have the correct dates as well, by the way.

FAL,

They'll be done, too, but I can't remember quite what I did and need to find the appropriate file.

Blucher should have a lengthy interregnum, you mean? Or start later?

mats,

I appreciate the suggestion, and will consider it more seriously if there is a Persia, but I don't mind the religion setup save for the -20% penalty to Chinese tax. Reformed should definitely take any penalties it gets (cannot remember) to balance out its big TE boost.

Preliminary Edits
-Frederick the Great's death date extended to 1786 (monarch and leader)
-Turenne's birth date extended to 1630
-von Wallenstein to 4-5-5 and Eugene of Savoy to 5-6-6
-Nelson and Cochrane to 5-5-5 (at least)

I found back these changes we did a year ago:

England

nerfed:
Cromwell -> 5-4-4
Marlborough -> 5-5-5-2 (note that this makes him equal to Eugene)
Wolfe -> 4-4-4
Wellington -> 5-5-5-1
Nelson -> 5-5-4
Cochrane -> 4-4-4
Clive -> 4-4-6-1
Drake -> 4-4-5

Serves them right, those English.

France
Turenne lives from 1630 till 1675 (starts earlier, dies earlier)

Nerfed:
Davout ->5-5-4-1
Lannes -> 5-4-4-2

Spain

Nerfed:
Bazan -> 4-4-5
Farnese -> 4-5-4-2

Sweden

Nerfed:
Klas Horn -> 4-4-5
Gustav Adolf -> 6-5-5-1
Baner -> 4-4-5-1
Karl II -> 5-4-4-1

Ottomans

Improved
Suleyman -> 5-5-4-2
Ibrahim -> 4-4-4
Sokullu Mehmed -> 4-4-4
Murad IV -> 4-4-4-1
Köprölö Fazil Ahmed -> 4-4-4-1

Nerfed:
Barberus -> 4-4-5

Other changes that we didn't adopt back then, but should be

Blucher lives from 1760 till 1819. In 1760 he was captured as a mere soldier. He didn't command an army then and he only reached the rank of major in 1786.

Villars has wrong dates as well, currently lives from 1685 till 1725. Should be from 1701 to 1734. Villars only commanded a French army with a high rank in the War of the Spanish Succession, before that he had mainly a diplomatic role.

If the Netherlands get in: De Ruyter dies in 1676 not in 1667.

My ICQ is 554053865.

My preferences:

1. Ottoman Empire (most of my single-player games have been with Byzantium)

If the OE is unavailable, I'd prefer to be a medium/small country more or less on the sidelines.

2. Venice
3. Denmark
4. Portugal (I'm not real good at the colonizing game, though)
5. Papal State?

Could the GM say which of the things listed here: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?t=214541&page=1 are considered exploits in this game?

count me in.

nation preferences (assuming we play with land locked at 5):
1. France
2. Spain
3. England
4. OE

i´d prefer 19:30 as starting time, 19:00 means for me to hurry like mad to make it home from work in time. but 19:00 should be ok for me if the majority preferes it.

and just for clarification: do you mean 19:00 CET or CEST starting time?

edit: changed preferences

Might want to balance that with PE and/or tax penalties. At least in my opinion the amount of Colonists, Diplomats and Missionaries should be equal across the board.
