From now on there will be an ontime bonus of 250D to everyone who is in the game at 19:00, and an additional 125D to everyone who is there at 18:55. If nobody writes AARs, I might start increasing the reward until people do.
according to what i heard it mio was annoyed with ego for him using pirates in a game when it wasnt a rule to not use them.
Therefor i belive mio is the one who should compromise
Apart from the massive pirate spam i used in the only game we played (almost 4 years ago by the way) i dont see what could be possibly used as a reason to avoid playing with me. I didnt leave the game and i dont recall insulting you or treating you in any way unfair (apart from abusing the game engine - like with the pirate spam - that is).
I also did dishonour most of our deals, that is true, and i even managed to make others dishonour theirs, as well - like Rokka (whom you had offered all of italy if they joined you against me), but that is part of the game. You were terribly huge, and in the 1453 scenario made by drake that we played, the OE had terrible advantages and a huge manpower pool. I was a noob back in these days, but i remember that despite having a far smaller naval supply limit then yours all our wars ended in a white peace.
If you didnt get annoyed at my way of conducting diplomacy, or at my massive pirate spam (and perhaps even my massive mercenary spam, which caused the death of Murat in Iberia), i cannot find a plausible reason for your behaviour towards me. But as CG points out, perhaps you can enligthen us.
P.S: I know you got terribly pissed at that time due to the pirate spam/mercenary spam which caused the death of some of your leaders shortly after their landfall, but it was nothing against the rules (i believe we made a rule to prevent pirate spam later on, but when i used it, it wasnt forbidden).
I remember you complaining about the compensation France would get after begin AI-ed two sessions. And asking for larger compensation for yourself after being AI-ed for one...
Of course that was his fault and not caused by your connection...
I remember you using an attack on an AI ally to force me to break a truce.
Another minor comment; you can brag about me not beating you, but of course you forgot to mention you were saved from getting your ass kicked by Rokka's strong Austria.
If you promise to not quit the game and not start long arguments, I am willing to give it a shot
Still kind of lame to play the "I'm a noob" card, when there were some de-facto noobs in that game.i belive it was some trpuble with fal, mats.
Well, despite using hamachi, and having the countless problems we had (still remember bodvar crashing about 20 times in a row and playing 4 years in a single session?), i never had any similar problem with anyone else (even in other games, might i add). And IIRC, RappaR could not hear anyone except the host. Or at the very least, he couldnt hear me. And i could speak with anyone else without problems, and never had any problems with anyone either, regarding 0 men armies. Therefore, if I never had any problems like that, and never had any similar problems in the game with anyone else - the problem certainly wasnt mine.
I am not bragging that you couldnt beat me, i just said you didnt do it despite your advantages. Yes, Austria declared war on the OE twice when i was getting attacked, but Rokka's tactic of a "static defense" (and by static defense i mean stretching his forces thin all over his borders with you), never paid any dividends. And i wouldnt dare call his Austria strong. A strong Austria is the Austria, Tonio for example built in Gotterdamerung (just the other day i spoke with King John about it), or Tonio's Austria in Universalis I, which you might very well remember, afterall he did reach Instanbul early on (and you were the OE). Both Rokka and myself were relatively newbies to the game, but i always found myself with my hands tied with an OE that beated me in every field. I might not have been the best player obviously, but the game settup didnt help - everyone knows the OE is capable of reaching huge manpower, and in that drake's version of 1453 a bigger naval supply limit isnt hard either with all these ports africa provide.
P.S: Do not think i am "bragging" when i say things like "I built the biggest empire" or, "I beated everyone in every terms". I am just stating facts, facts which the stats themselves pointed out. There is a diference between stating the truth, and facts backed up by proofs, to outright bragging. At least in my dictionary.
In short - this is my last post on the matter - if you are still unable to play with me, based on an opinion 4 years old and in the opinion of "people you had fun with in the past", I wont bother you or anyone else about the issue any longer, nor shall i post in this thread in the future, but i do hope no one else ever ask me to sub them in this game.
great, bb and england missing then.
anyways i should get full ontime, how wa si supposed to know who hosted and that there was a new network?=p
