i played a bit last night as romania, and i must say it was the most fun i had playing vicky for a while
i managed to beat off austria, but didnt manage to take anything from them. Managed to pretty easily get along the bulgarian coast and capture constantinople... then it crashed for no apparent reason. The ottomans are pretty weak compared to romanian techs, the bulgars and austrians about even.

Belgium managed to hold out until about september '15... then they were gone, but not peaced. Russia didnt do well... lost the whole of poland and lithuania, tho managed to hold back austria and the oe pretty well; seemed to be a fair way behind tech wise, and never had the hardware to hold the germanics back. German navy disappeared, and some small landings by the english.

However, im wondering how much use further work is on this at this time, since in the next week or so we get 1.04, which im getting the impression gives fairly big changes.

There will be a next version, with some more events, still will miss some events like the Russian Revolution and civil unrest in Germany, but with some basic events to end the Great War. After that I'll wait with a next release untill 1.04 has come out and see what chances have been made. Maybe this mod will die after that, maybe not.

I already fixed them. While testing I came across some of the mistakes. Another mistake you missed is that an event that is directly triggered by an other event shouldn't have a date. During my first test game I saw Austria inherit Serbia in the first months. I also added a Serbia event triggered by the Austrian victory in case of none Bulgarian involvement.

First I'll test the events more, then I'll put the new version up.

one other thing could u tweak up the russian aggresion toward A-H they focus on germany so much that they barely take any pressure off the serbians.

I'll see what I can do. Perhaps I can change their aggresiveness towards A-H with enemy_handicap and/or state_multiplier. I'll do some tests tomorrow.

I've done some changes to the AI, making Russia fighting A-H more, and Germany spending more troops at the Western Front. Also A-H spent more troops in Galicia and Tirol. Now I need to balance things, at the moment it produces some akward results ( Serbia expending too much, French Army almost destroyed ) Later today I'll put up some screenshots with the improved AI.

Serbian and Greek are welcome, I believe Bulgaria will gain it's cores by event when it joins the war. Maybe Greece should get it's cores by event when it joins the war? This to avoid that Greece will declare war against some other country before it's original join date.

I just realized that today. I'll make sure they will be the next version (if there will be a next one, depending on the changes made in 1.04). Maybe create some extra random events for this period? Like the populatio getting tired of the war.

Speaking about national claims, shouldn't Denmark have Ribe as national province?

Darks63 could you make some event for Bulgaria that will increase the militancy of a large part of the Bulgarian population slightly? The Bulgarian population wasn't too pleased with the war. They disliked fighting against their fellow Orthodox Christians and being in an alliance with the Muslim Ottomans.

Serbia still needs some tweaking, since it conquers parts of Austria, and Austria doesn't take those provinces back before Bulgaria joins the war.

Russia seems to hold on some time and holds back the Austrians and the Ottomans.

I've increased certain mobilization events. The Ottoman Empire, Austria-Hungary, France now get more divisions per event. France seems to be able to push the Germans back in 1917, even after the Treaty of Brest Litovsk.

No, it goes to Germany, although Germany releases it with the Treaty of Versailles. But that can be changed if necessary.

Although I found that there can be some errors with the treaty of Versailles if Austria sues for peace with Serbia before the Serbian Surrender event.
