The orange provinces are the country.
Green dot is capital, Ulan Bator.

Basic outline of the country.
Basically they are a humanoid that reproduce very quickly and blindly follow their deity Spam*. They frown upon technology and magic.
As a result they are very primitive and rely on their great numbers.

In game play terms:
Massive manpower, very low technology.
Low IC/manpower value of provinces but with a huge off map bonus or modifiers so they are able to literally mass produce weak low tech infantry.

Tech:
Basically no researched tech and limited to 1 tech slot at start and very crappy tech teams(skill 1).
They shall be able to produce infantry/militia and cavalry but hardly anything else.

Form of government: Paternal Autocrat. Government is formed of gods, Ukko Ylijumala is HoS, Väinämöinen (hero of Kalevala), CoN is water god Ahti and so on..

Story: Simply based on Finnish ancient religion and epic poem Kalevala.

Special?: Tag is FIN, so it replaces Finland. Leaders and non-god ministers are from Kalevala. Very bad relations (-180) with other countries in Finland area.

I was thinking that we could still use this nation in somewhere over the Urals then give it claims on all the provinces that would have had finnic peoples living in them. We could make a little back story they would have had an huge empire but there happened something that made it collapse and Kalevala is now only a few province nation between the Frozen Kingdom and the western kingdoms. How does that sound?

Sounds ok to me. Finno-ugrics came from Urals, so uralic base would have realistic support.

Maybe territory should be 'colonized' when there are no more country suggestions. If there is a hole in africa, give it some nation.

Wow, a bunch of new countries! I'll mod 'em asap, but I do have not much time today to spend on the pc. Maybe it will take until tomorrow night to include everything.

why the offmap bonus? Why not just increasing the manpower in the provinces, so you can have the same effect?

I'm going to give the 4 unoccupied provinces north of the amur to Aruun, if that's ok with everyone.
Also I would like to split the 2 unoccupied provinces between Atlantis and the Incas. Giving the southwestern province to the Incas and the other to Atlantis, if you all agree.

@ colonies
true, no nation so far has any major colonies (I don't count Atlantis' possessions on both sides of the Atlantic as colonies, since they fled to those lands, when their continent sank). But this way, places like Africa will play a bigger role, since it's not just some huge amount of sand occupied by some french & british. Instead of having some 5-7 major powers who dominate the whole globe, we do have a bunch of regional powers. This way, we can make up different conflicts & storylines, making more nation interesting to play with. This makes the whole mod more interesting, methinks.

That shouldn't prevent some nations from having colonies, when you think, your nation deserves it!

Well, I am editing all Atlantis (Provinces, COREs, history, religion, society, politics, etc...).

For the moment, Atlantis will gain all West African Coast from Sahara to Liberia (And inner provinces) ant all US/Canadian east coast from Maryland to Nova Escotia (and inner provinces).

If it's not too late I got a nation to submit : The Ice Kingdom of Palatinea I'll give you the pictures and techsteams/leaders/ministers if it can be implemented.

Established in the remaining parts of south America The FPK is governed by powerful wizards that wishes to bring a new Ice age to the planted to enforce their mastery over it as they're expert at using this magic and have transformed the lands they occupy into a Frozen land (You could change the climate of this region to Arctic :D ) by channelling powerful Ice-magic energies from the southern pole. The people of this kingdom worship a variant of the Scandinavian pantheon with Höðr as main god. The Kingdom has a small army of well trained troops and rely more and technology than number (means it's quite well industrialized but has less manpower) their government is highly dictatorial and Spartan like minded (Young men and women are forced to spend a whole night surviving in the "Terra Del Fuego" to be considered as adults) but their society while begin elitists is also highly egalitarian, everyone can access promotions and there's no distinction between sexes.

It'll greatly depend on who is in power in Mine. Hartar (the starting HoS) could have maintained pretty good relations with your country (especially as he wants to retake the south Argentinian colonies from the invaders) or even an alliance and would surely help the government that now holds the power in exchange of the Island in the deep south of the Terra del Fuego.

Ard is a staunch aggressive expansionist that will take the first opportunity or sign of weakness to attack, he may keep an alliance as long he has interests in it but nor more. It's better to only add cores on your country once he comes in power.

On the other side Endor could be helped by your country in her seizure of power (by killing Ard and/or Hartar) a could prove a worthy ally with either factions or yours, she has the same goals as Hartar but is sightly more manipulating and intriguing than militarist.

Kâmpûchea have colonies in the Ocean, Pacific, Atlantic and Indian ocean! I'm the only one wich included some kind of exploration/colonialism in the history of its nations. :(


However they are worthless. If im allowed to do so I could select a few more islands and coastal provinces than none care care about. Also if you want Rudie you can give all the Pacific Islands not occupied by HOP/Maoris to Kâmpûchea.

Looking at the map, you could give the territories not claimed by anybody to a nation, exemple there is 2 landlocked provinces north of the Incas than none wanted, and nobody will make a country out of it. They could go to the Incas.

Same with the 4 provinces north of the nation in the Manchuria region.
