I chose not to participate in the War in Heaven as the AE I would've fought against bordered my empire and they were the first to awaken. I thought I'd be cute and wait for the WiH to be in full swing before trying to back door the Holy Guardians.

I teched up some and declared on the Holy Guardians as they were losing the WiH in addition to fighting the League of non-aligned. I thought my 100k stack would stand a good chance. Turns out I haven't played in awhile and was not ready for the 442k fleet that proceeded to commit felony rape against my fleet. I rebuilt, conquered the worlds of their "vassals" and got a white peace.

The WiH is in full swing and the Unbidden showed up... on the other side of the galaxy of the WiH. There is no way I can defeat the Holy Guardians and the other AE doesn't want me. Should I focus on the Unbidden (I took out their first 75k fleet but left when their 150k worth of fleets said hello), 1 of the 2 FEs, or let the big boys fight it out.

I'll provide screenies if I can. *I should note I went crazy with Synthetic pops in an attempt to trigger the AI rebellion. Now the Keepers of Knowledge on my western borders don't like me. Purge?

i hunker down, dont chooise either side and i like to let the swarm and unbidden "clean" part of the galxy for me (also without all those pesky lifeforms inhabbiting the planets the end game crisis conquer you get a bit less lag)
so i would wait it out, if any planets get liberated in any of the wars ect they can be easy pickings every now and again check the contacts screen and when the AE empire fleet goes from overwhelming to inferior then you know they hbave lost a key battle and you can strike and secure multiple systems before they rebuild

I took your advice and let them fight. The War in Heaven is a stalemate (which I am fine with) and I kept my head down and focused on tech and economy. Of course my economy consists of populating the galaxy's planets with Synthetics.

However that pesky Keepers of Knowledge FE on my western border awoke to take on the Unbidden. And what is the obvious way to take out the Unbidden? Declare war on me for having dangerous AI tech. They only wanted 16 of my planets and abolish all AI.

Oh well, had fun, learned a lot. Can't wait to start anew.

Let the Unbidden roam free. I was able to colonize a quarter of the galaxy because the Unbidden wiped the state clean (helped that everyone on that part of the Galaxy were Thralls and they are not allowed to colonize).
