I'm not handing over Hessen either, all I'll do is drop my request for Munster Kleves which should've been edited to me anyway before last session! As part of my vassal deal! Besides Hessen is now protty I doubt the emperor wants it.

BTW are there no Vassal rules whatsoever in this game?

If this is the case the lack of guarantee plus our recent history with BB would incline the Crown not to endorse a re-creation of the Vassalage for other consessions.

The matter will be considered ... in the meantime if France wishes to fight only its expected war with England/Spain it would do well to remain chummy with the HRE.

I think we have a rule that you can't diplomatically vassalize a country. You can do it through a fake war though.

There is nothing for enforcement. As IRL, honor and power are your only tools for enforcement.

During the Reign of Emperor Rudolph II, France has shown a reasonable regard for the Imperial borders and has supported the "nominal" independance of Brandenburg with measured thought. Russia however, has not only deigned not to communicate with Vienna over any eastern arrangements but has had the temerity to intervene in the Empire for a rebellious and illegal state.

If the tsar wishes to apologize for his interference and return the stolen lands of Masovia and Podlosia to the Imperial Crown with 1000 ducats compensation, we may consider not welcoming the French to Poland. Though your time runs short on this matter.
