War % for burning TPs?

Do you get any war % for a TP you have burnt?

Do you get BB points if you got a colony or TP in a peace deal?

But I'm pretty sure you get badboy points for diploannexing tp and colonies

AFAIK TP's are treated as colonies and therefor earn BB.

You loose % for a burned TP. When your army is present in that TP, it is considered a province conquered by you and give you 2% extra. However when you burn it, you loose that 2%.

I for one has never reflected over this matter, since it's a burn and colonize thing for me.

Well, if you need the percentage to get a specific province its easy just to run 1000 horses trough some colonial area for war score

Or if you are feeling truly mean, you can wait until AI offers a peace, and then burn all the TPs it didn't offer and then accept the peace .

I'll usually burn the enemy tps down and replace it with a colony during the war, you can't burn down colonies and the ai is quite bad at fighting a colonial war, so it's easy to recover if lost.

Also, since colonies are worth so little, I don't even bother taking them back, I just smack them around a bit harder at home until I get a good score anyway.

He is probably thinking of the cost to ask for them. which is double the war score, in most cases.

In my games, I've gotten a +2% to my war score for TP's.

Although I have been known to declare war solely in order to burn someone's TPs in North America and colonise the area myself ....

I just fought "The Coffee War" to burn China's Tp's in the East Indies. I didn't try to keep any, just captured, burned and replaced. Before I had to do anything else they offered a white peace and I ran with it. Got Taiwan, Manado and Sumbawa.

I always burn TP and set up a colony if the % to sucsee with a new colony is good, on that way you don't need to demand it and it tis sure that you don't get any BB points
