Playing as Hungary vassal, i tried to forced my claim on Novgorod (5 county worth), three time i declare private war on them, each time i got result war end inconclusively even when i already reach 90% score. Why? How to stop that kind of result? I'm sure it's not because my liege WP me, because this is private war and my liege not join my war.

Large war in CK2 is hard, AI kingdom won't surrender as long as they have single army, even when we already reach 90% warscore.

Wars end "inconclusively" when the CB becomes invalid mid-war; e.g. as KingHarold, I had a defensive excommunication war end inconclusively because one of my vassals convinced the Pope to lift my excommunication, and earlier, the Norwegian Invasion ended inconclusively when the King of Norway died. Possibly what you're seeing could be a result of one of your claimed counties getting inherited, is all I can suggest.

Well in my case, my target still in the hand of Novgorod, that's make me curious. But now i suspect every time any part of kingdom declare independence and lost the independence war (join back to the fold), all war even with foreign power will end inconclusively?

I was also wondering about this since I joined one of the faction and went on a revolution war against our liege. After about 30 battles my side winning, the % icon of the liege wouldn't go down (I thought winning land battles would also gain favor for our side, or is it just a npc advantage thing?)so I had to try occupying his land. Once he ran out of army and we're about 90% winning(I just tried again), the war just ended and said something like the revolution is no longer invalid(the plotter didn't die).

It'd probably help if you could have taken screenshots so we could see what happened maybe.

Wars will end inconclusively though if certain things happen.

Like say I try to claim a county in the duchy of Toulouse which is currently rebelling against the French King. If their war ends my war end inconclusively because the Duke of Toulouse is back to being a vassal of the King of France. It should inform you of this before you declare war though on the diplomacy screen usually in red letters.

There's other reasons it could happen really all depends on the CB your using and such.

And no wars with foreign powers don't always end inconclusively in fact I don't think I've ever had one of my own end like that...seen AI wars go that route, like an independence war ending because the faction leader decided to die, and what not.
