Hypothetical tactical scenario question here, say I attack a country consisting of just 2-3 provinces. At the same time they're attacked by another nation neighboring us both that I have a truce with. I however manage to get in first and control the siege of all provinces and once finished I annex all 2-3 provinces of said nation.

Would the war just end for the other attacking nation? Black flagged and forced to return home empty handed.
Or would they be at war with me in that case? A country that they're currently at truce with.
