I was watching the stream on my phone and had trouble reading everything in time, but my thought process was like this:

"Makes sense that they want to revoke Coruna. They've got a claim on that, after all. That's probably what the golden plus thing is there for.
Oh, wait, they're revoking Santiago. I guess the plus stands for something else, then. After all, the devs should know their game and won't...
Nevermind, there is the civil war. Well, at least they can imprison the count after the war and revoke more titles.
Wait, half the realm rose up? Well, RIP!"

Its weird to get a letter of war declaration from a 6 years old boy and not from his regent or anybody else who is an adult, but its Vitale he is an outstanding boy so I think it checks out.

If he can disrupt lines of succesion by his mere existence, he can write letters at age 6.

Just finished watching the stream - absolutely loved this one. Alexander and Rodrigo are great hosts and have a good chemistry. Definitely the best Paradox dev stream so far.

They weren't able to declare Holy Wars because of their Devotion level. Looks like if you're too impious in CK3, you won't be able to declare Holy Wars.

It's why I like to start as a Count. I like to track my claims as I gain them, rather than dropping into a lake full of claims and getting them mixed up!

in theory this was true in CK2 but it rarely was an actual problem. holy wars being less common can only be good since steamrolling realms of other religions is so simple

Ohhh i see, wonder how i missed that piece of information, realistically id think the best way to 'prove' your piety would be to conquer land in the name of your religion. i can see why they have made impiety a limit to declaring holy war tho coz it'd be too easy to gain piety and blob otherwise if you were on the hinterlands of Catholicism (or any religion for that matter) you could just steamroll your weaker neigbours.
