Thanks alot cueball. I´ve also checked your thread. However allow me to say this...I still don´t know where this will lead to, and maybe we can somehow combine efforts or merge in a new group in the future. My previous experience in MP ( Not in HoI2 of course ) tells me that it´s better to form a small trustworthy group than a large megaclan.
Besides HoI2 has what, 8 or 10 playable countries?, anyone who thinks Portugal or Albania, or even a country like yugoslavia, is worth playing in an MP game where all majors are humans, is just wishfulthinking.
So too large groups end up with a bunch of ppl playing small boring countries ( whoever thinks otherwise try playing Portugal in an MP and you will see )
and those ppl start getting demotivated and drop out... Some may still hold for a while.. play a major when someone fails to show up, and then in the next session they just get "pushed way " cuz the previous owner is present. And so it´s no use in trying to form large groups, coordination is virtually impossible, the fun is limited only for those who "arrived first" cuz they take all the "fun" countries first etc, etc.
So what I say is, I hope I can form that small 6 or 8 member group here first and then we´ll see... Just trying to get a dozen people present in Valkyrie to play is a feat in itself, trying to get a group of 20 or people going in HoI2 is just plain dreaming...
But well future will tell, still I hope you can get the play started and get alot of fun doing it.
