wandering units after upgrade

i have some strange things happen sometimes after upgrading a unit:

sometimes 1 some or all of the brigades added to a hq is somewhere else after the upgrade. most times i find them at some other hq in the chain of command - either the upper or the lower ones - but most times it works as it should.

had any1 similiar experiences and maybe found out why it happens?

oh - i play vanilla tfh with some minor changes at some txt files

Do you have automatic deployment turned on (production screen)?

no , never - i made hoi similiar to a turn based game because i enjoy to make every tiny bit by myself

I find strange things happen if you upgrade all the brigades in a division at the same time.
Try to leave one brigade not upgrading in an division as an 'anchor'.

as i talk of hq divisions and the hq brigade couldnt be upgraded - there is always 1 brigade (usually 2 : hq + ac) that couldnt be upgraded. in normal divisions i couldnt remember to have seen such an issue, even if upgrading all

Not that specifically. I have had whole divisions just disappear into the ether before though.
