I've been playing Germany the oldfashined way. But choosing Plan Z and making allies of Scandinavian countries. With a few carriers and battleships (and some help from the Scandinavian fleets) invading England directly after fall of Paris. Then the plan is to do USA or Soviet Union as the chips falls. Preferably USA first.
-In order to get rid of Bitter Loser and to get parts of the French navy, and to making cores of Alsace and Luxembourg, player actually have to procede pretty slow when beating the British. Otherwise a 70+70 day focus tree time frame (annexing Alsace and getting rid of bitter loser) doesn't work. So ok I play a very 'slow' Seelöve. But that is difficult because You have to do a steady and fast game on the beaches of Britain in order to succed and:
-Case Anton doesn't work. In order to fullfill the allmost impossible demands of the Plan Z shipbuilding mission, parts of the French Fleet would have been a wellcome plus. But alas. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. But I don't think so. It did work though before the Friday patch(!).
-Spending time annexing Alsace and Luxembourg in the focus tree is meaningless. Doesn't work. Nationalist France get Alsace after peace conference anyway.
It is irritationg with new potentially nice items that does not work. The Chinese stuff is very interesting so far though!
